So far the only MCU project I’m actually excited to see
No. They can’t even release Blade
I knew they were gonna fumble Dr. Doom. Some stupid part of me had hope they would do it but they proved me right, they would fumble.
No. They don't have nearly enough story to make a good adaptation of Secret Wars. There's a lot of stuff that should of been established before them that wasn't like the cosmic hierarchy; both Secret Wars involve powerful cosmic entities & the MCU has barely touched upon anything about the cosmos.
Take away all comedy.
Present the gods in a better light, after wall Omnipotent city isn't Cochella for gods, that's where they meet to make laws & protect the universe.
Show that Gorr has been here for centuries & traumatized Thor.
Have Gorr be more powerful & doesn't rely on trickery & instead raw power & pure prowess. Have him show how violent he really is. Show him be the God Butcher, not the child kidnapper.
Show the scale of his destruction; planets are dying, people are suffering, etc.
Have him pull gods from all across time & space.
Have the combat be cosmic; when they connect in strikes, planet shatter, they pinball between galaxies, etc. They're gods for god's sake.
Most importantly: show Gorr was wrong, the mortals need the gods & not all gods are bad, Thor is living proof.
Brother Voodoo or 1 of the Loa/Vodu/Orisha
Beta Ray Bill
What I find funny, is that the Black hero who isn't a legacy character, who isn't tied to a bigger person, & isn't based in prejudice is taking forever to come out.....but the Black characters that match all the other stuff are chugged out with ease....interesting.
The man who built Marvel Studios can even get a movie.
Planet Hulk
Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes
Black Panther (Comics)/none anymore (MCU)
Vulcan
Thanos (Comics)/(MCU)
En Saba Nur
Venom, think he counts
Dr. Doom
N/A
Any cthonic/hellspace realm
N/A
Beta Ray Bill or Adam Warlock (comics)
Hell Charger
None of them have made it to the MCU
The only one I legitimately like now is Elektra. I use to love Wanda but I don't like the way they handled her
Invincible Iron Man
Iron Man
X-Men Evolution got me into Marvel Comics
Venom
Ghost Rider (specifically King of Hell)
Black Panther (pre-MCU)
Ghost Rider. Being part of God's black ops team would be awesome. To be specific, I'd probably be Cosmic Ghost Rider so I could be that for all of space
Bucky already has heart so I felt that was assumed.
Being always righteous. They’re overusing anti-villains & they aren’t doing it right to begin with. & there are some heroes that should be more flawed such as Moon Knight. While the show was good, I miss how in the lore he was crazy like he prefers to take bullets rather than dodge them, branding his enemies, etc.
& then there’s the whole being righteous when they’re really not, like when Sam was saying not to call flag destroyer & her crew terrorists when that’s exactly what they were. My other example is Kilmonger, he was just straight up evil wanting to basically take over the world to stop anti-Blackness. Which is just wanting supremacy aka he’s Neo-Hitler. But they made him semi-righteous
They didn’t use a Super Solider.
After X-Men 97, the only people who should be doing anything with the X-Men is them. He won’t do a good job in my opinion. He already messed up what it means to be Mutant. & wouldn’t wanna see how many much he’ll change mutant lore.
Always made more sense for a Super Solider to take the mantle of a Super Solider.
Are we still talking about inclusion? Because I’m confused on what you’re talking about. How do I contradict my points on inclusion?
As for lack of foresight, I don’t see my short comings then either. I have mentioned how several plot points that have been made in movies will destroy the potential for good world building & don’t allow room for other great plot points. That’s foresight. & even the stuff not from the lore, like MCU Kang & how they handled him & the public reception, I’ve displayed good foresight on that as well (i.e. having him defeated by Ant-Man wasn’t goona go over well & surprise it didn’t; people are bored with him & Marvel themselves have admitted not knowing what to do with him).
