Why Did Marvel Recast A Character Instead Of Going With The Original Actor?

I just want to get one thing out of the way and that is I really like the WandaVision episode titled On a Very Special Episode.. so with that out of the way let’s begin, so at the end of WandaVision episode five On a Very Special Episode... a character in the MCU showed up that has not been seen since the end of the second Avengers movie titled Avengers Age of Ultron, where the villain of said movie killed Quicksilver, and some years later he shows up but he has a different face and voice that face and voice belonging to one Evan Peters instead of Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and I want to know why you think Marvel went with Evan Peters instead of Aaron Taylor-Johnson?
