Walker saw Bob’s dad as the worst version of who he could’ve become as a father and instantly threw hands
Most satisfying part of the movie was Walker knocking out Bob’s abusive dad
Idt anyone would care about it anymore if the film hadn’t outright called the dude an “innocent man”
Also NOBODY ever implied it was a “good thing”. For as much as Walker haters complain about his fans, they can be just as bad
Nico was not surrendering, that is outright false. He was just stalling so Walker could spare him. He made no attempt to turn himself in after throwing a cinder block trash can at Walker without knowing he had the super soldier serum. And NO, just because a terrorist pleads for mercy doesn’t mean you’re obligated to spare them
Anyone else found it crazy they actually told Walker “you killed an innocent man?” He may not have killed Lemar but he was a terrorist and not innocent at all
“Wingman” isn’t a term of disrespect, Sam literally called Riley that in The Winter Soldier movie
^^ Didn’t he save Sam, Bucky and Lemar in the 2nd episode? Is that not good?
I really thought he’d leave them and Sam would come in. I was shocked
What Walker did to Nico wasn’t meant to be an evil moment, just show why he isn’t worthy of being Cap
I feel Thunderbolts will make John more liked. He’s a 50/50 character rn but Thunderbolts can make him easier to root for. A large reason so many didn’t like was because he was supposedly going to be the next Cap. As US agent, he’s more easy to root for
@WizardWarrior1 @IronWidowMaikuB exactly. John is a great example of a grey character. An anti-hero compared to more morally pure characters. He wants to do the right thing but doesn't always go about it in the right way.
@Romaro Brandon they had time to cool off. Walker didn’t. Yet he still let go of revenge like T’Challa and Shuri. He killed one BAD person in the heat of battle. Sam says this himself.
Also did you pay attention? The serum amplified your emotions and what’s inside of you. Walker JUST watched his friend get murdered and had PTSD that made him unstable. Not a bad man, but unstable. Ofc he’d kill a terrorist.
And ofc Steve did something better, Steve was a nigh impossibly heroic man.
“And he stopped the man from killing himself” which I literally acknowledged? I said both made the decision to do the right thing over perusing vengeance. Nobody ignored anything.
@Romaro Brandon you ignore that 1. T’Challa spent the whole movie trying to murder Bucky when he thought he was responsible. He ultimately choose not to perspire evenge just like Walker and unlike Wanda 2. Those two had time to cool off, Walker’s was right after and he also had the serum amplifying his grief
Wanda doing one good thing doesn’t change the fact that she was a villain in a show and movie. She’s even on the villains wiki. She kept the hex up even AFTER Hayward told her about the harm she was causing
She still used her powers to torment them though with those visions.
@IronWidowMaikuB saying, "It wasn't me" is stalling, not surrendering. He wanted John to hesitate in killing him so he could escape. And Wanda KNEW about what the hex was causing yet STILL kept it up ("I'm not the one with the guns").
And she literally put Cap, Thor and Widow under illusions too? What are you on about? Stop trying to downplay her actions
Nope. Karli did it to people who’d done nothing to her. The other Flag Smashers literally opposed her actions. There was no reason to murder the guards. Walker mehahwile just witnessed his friend get murdered
