Henry cavil really needs to be in the MCU in a role that he deserves and more importantly deserves him
Tony’s flaws are tolerated because he is beaten and destroyed in nearly every movie he is in. We can make the case that so is everyone else but no one has suffered more consistently than tony. Wanda,Steve, Thor all suffered but tony just didn’t catch a break during his entire run in the mcu.
Iron man 1- kidnapped and tortured by terrorists
Iron man 2- spends most of the movie not knowing when he is gonna die.
Iron man 3- has PTSD from avengers 1, his house is destroyed, he is stranded on the other side of the country with a terrorist on his tail.
Avengers 1- goes into a wormhole with a nuke on his back and his suit fails in space and free falls to the ground. Had the portal closed One second earlier and he would be dead in space , alone and cold.
Avengers 2- ultron was his fault yes but he had pure intentions and every death from ultron is on him, plus when sokovia was falling, tony was underneath it trying to stop it with Thor. He was about to have a city fall on him.
Civil war- tries to own up to his mistakes with ultron and finds out that his close friend was protecting his parent’s murderer all this time.
Homecoming- just for cameos
Infinity war- thanos stabbed and almost killed him
Endgame- spends first part in space, almost dead and then dies while saving the world
Cap has had tough times but tony is just a walking tragedy. Also, this is what separates carol and tony, people like to make the point that they’re both wise cracking and arrogant but carol is hated coz she is a woman, NO. Every mistake tony makes comes back at him 10 fold. He does not get away with anything.

Being a diehard gorr fan from the comics and as someone who considers Christian Bale to be one of the most talented actors, this was such a disappointment. I mean they got the perfect character and the perfect guy to play that and they screwed up. My problems with thor 4 are all related to gorr and they'll fix the movie to a large extent. Let's go over them-
1. This is the obvious one, there should've been more gorr. More Christian Bale never hurts.
2. The necrosword should never have been the thing that makes gorr kill. The whole point of him is that he was a normal, loyal follower. It's the gods who created their worst nightmare by being selfish. Gorr is not bad, he is just what someone would have done under those exact circumstances.
3. Gorr shouldn't be a new thing. He should've been hunting and killing in the background for Millenium. That makes him that much more menacing and dangerous. Sure thor can fight thanos and hela but gorr's entire thing is killing beings who are as powerful as thor, thor should have a trail of dead bodies to follow before he finds out that this has been going on for a while. which dovetails into my next issue.
4. Gorr should win every battle easily before the finale. It's so stupid how easily thor and janeare able to fight gorr when they first encounter him on new asgard , then why do they need the God's help and why is zeus afraid of him. He should be more powerful. And my final point.
5. Gorr never challenges thor on an ideological level. Think about it, one is a God, other is disappointed follower of the gods. This should challenge thor to be a better God and make him think about his own existence.
