Just found out that Kang Dynasty has been renamed to Avengers 5 and I'm not the happiest person right. Since I don't want to be "that guy" I'm not gonna write an angry rant or complain about it or anything like that. Nobody likely cares about my feelings either so what's the use, all I'm gonna say is I'm not happy about that and list the reasons why. Personally I was excited to see Kang and all his variants, I know the news states that he could still appear but with a lessened role but that isn't enough for me. This is KANG THE CONQUEROR a character even bigger than Thanos, heck he aged Thanos into dust just with a punch. Dude can be killed in one point of time, sense his time remnant being killed and kill the person who killed him. Dude has an interesting yet conflicting backstory. Is he the descendant of Reed Richards or Doctor Doom or both?! He has broke time in so many ways, even interacting with his past in a way Endgame has told us isn't possible. He fought Rama-Tut, his past self and not in an alternate universe way he literally fought his past self during the time his past self was existing without creating a branched timeline. His love for Ravonna Renslayer, not being able to get over the fact that he wasn't able to save her and starting a timeloop in which he picks up his past self to turn him into Kang only to start a cycle in which Ravonna tries to kill him. He's worked with so many villains and while he's had many defeats, he's had almost as many victories! I will probably get over this but just wanted to get how I feel about this news off my chest. They did my boy dirty with Quantumania and now won't even give him the chance to redeem himself. I heard that Kang and his variants will be recast (hopefully it's true) but even if that's the case what's the point of recasting him if he doesn't get to be the main villain of the show? Dude is Thanos level material (in my opinion from how many times the dude has come back he's higher than Thanos but I don't want to seem like I'm hyping him up too much) and should be treated as such. I don't want to seem like I'm complaining or ranting (if it does seem like that I'm sorry just felt like writing this all down and getting it off my chest). If you don't want to read all this I totally understand this probably sounds like some annoying angry fan ranting that his favorite or original character didn't get the spotlight. I tried to avoid during that just not happy about this news, I'll like get over it soon but this is how I'm feeling at the moment. Tell me your thoughts if you want to.
