I noticed that the extent of Scarlet Witch’s powers seemed really inconsistent throughout Infinity War. At the start when her and Vision are attacked by the two members of the Black Order, she can only just hold her own against Proxima Midnight. But Cap, Natasha and Sam can defeat them easily. Then in Wakanda, Wanda lifts and dismantles a giant alien army tank (I’m not sure what it really was) the size of a mansion and holds off Thanos with the gauntlet while destroying the Mind Stone.
So how was she not capable of beating Proxima Midnight at the start? I was thinking maybe her powers are still difficult to control and respond more to her emotions. Or maybe it’s just easier to push away a big inanimate object rather than something that’s living and fights back. Any thoughts?
