Lots of people complain bit don't forget, not everyone reads the comics. But for those who do read the comics and know the lore, they are NOT gonna be happy with genderbent Avengers. Gonna get more rage and hate out of the Marvel community if anything. BTW, Clint didn't have everything nor and he DEFINITELY earned his title of Hawkeye. This is a guy who spent his entire life on one singular thing, even when he was on house arrest in the opening of Endgame, he still practiced. And even though he's just a mortal man, he fights alongside gods and monsters to save the planet on a weekly basis.
Also those last two don't need genderbends. Betty Ross is already a female scientist who studies gamma radiation and she can definitely still become Red She-Hulk in the MCU. As for Barton, he can remain Hawkeye - as he already shares the title with his new apprentice, Kate Bishop thanks to the events of the MCU show Hawkeye. Remember?
Genderbending these characters isn't going to do any good nor will it go well, this is just something that doesn't need to happen in the end.
Pretty sure these characters are based on their genders. Especially Thor since he's directed pulled from Norse mythology, he's always been a dude in the stories. Never a woman.
Not everyone wants genderbent characters in three MCU though. And those who are genderbent don't always work out.
Also feels a bit strange they're having Sue be pregnant around this time. Maybe it's a way to explain how Franklin becomes so overpowered in the MCU?
Galactus also going small on Earth is mind-boggling. I know he can shrink if he's low on power or use the Power Cosmic to alter his size however he wants in the comics, but doesn't make sense why he'd shrink if he's to feed on Earth. Unless Reed made a cosmic power siphoning device
Johnny's personality doesn't feel like Johnny's. There's no hotheadedness or daredevilish or womanizer vibes from him in the trailer. The look is down for him but didn't feel like Johnny to me.
I definitely want the villains to be Scorpion!
It's possible we may get more Black Panther villains, albeit set up throughout time.
Unfortunately that's only 4 movies, gonna need at least 1 or 2 more added to the slot in order to make it at least a proper Phase.
I liked his OG look from Black Widow
Oh please no!
Most likely not in connection with Galactus. But I feel like they will bring up the Multiverse in the film.
It was explained that Nebula just went to Earth and straight up took the arm from Bucky! XD
I really hope they don't screw up Sentry/Void's xharacter. Especially since he's quoted in this movie to be "stronger than all the Avengers combined."
This trailer has me worried on several points.
Infinity Saga
• Thor: The Dark World
• The Incredible Hulk
Multiverse Saga
• Black Widow
• Eternals
• Thor: Love and Thunder
• Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania
• The Marvels
Here's to hoping.🥤
@Xandermcc maybe they can fix that problem in Thunderbolts. I can dig when they wanna gender swap a character in Marvel but Taskmaster just didn't do it for me. Grew up with Tony Masters in the cartoons, comics, and video games. But that's just me.
