They did it.
"Big man in a suit of armor. Take that off, what are you?"
"Genius billionaire playboy philanthropist."
That psychiatric hospital scene felt like it was ripped straight out of FX's Legion.
They changed to TV-14 starting with season 4, when they were moved to a later time slot and Ghost Rider came on and things started getting bloodier and more violent. I think there were maybe some select episodes in those earlier seasons that were also rated TV-14, but I'm not 100% sure which ones.
The first three seasons of Agents of Shield were TV-PG so it's not like we've never seen this before.
...How did you watch it that fast?
Something I've noticed is that the Defenders shows don't seem to support other languages yet? Not that this personally affects me but didn't they have other language versions on Netflix?
Looking back at Avengers 1, in the scene where they return to the tower to capture Loki, Steve's suit is no longer damaged and his face looks cleaned up. I assume he had a spare suit and that this is actually attention to detail on the production's part.
No way in HELL they just killed off Kingpin like that.
Thank you.
The Marvel Zombies from the comics were never mindless.
I don't personally like to think of FFH as part of the Infinity Saga. I know it officially is but I prefer looking at it as part of Phase 4.
From what I understand, the Sacred Timeline wasn't just scripted. There was a naturally growing Multiverse beforehand that the MCU was presumably born in, and it happened to be the timeline that leads to He Who Remains so it's the timeline he isolated. It depends on how you look at it since what He Who Remains was doing was simply preventing other timelines from growing. He didn't script anything or make the Sacred Timeline a big long movie for himself to watch. Maybe I misunderstand, but that's how I took it.
You do realize the fact this post-credits scene exists means that Marvel gave them permission and they are collaborating on this, right? It looks like sooner or later, Venom will fully crossover with the MCU, whether we like it or not.
@Jagan raj I'd say the episode 4 Nexus Event was that Stephen and Christine never broke up before the Doctor Strange events, like they did in the Sacred Timeline.
Pretty satisfying ending. I've had mixed feelings toward this whole show, and the finale was by no means perfect, but it wasn't a bad closing. Although, I'm a bit irritated they just handed us Mad Titan Gamora and Sakaaran Iron Man without context...
@Jon sad No. Not yet, at least. I think the wiki should acknowledge the crossover in maybe the trivia section or something, but for now we need time to figure this out and see what exactly Marvel does next. This is an MCU wiki, not an MCM wiki.
I've accepted the idea of an interconnected multiverse years ago, before we even had the Loki show, or these No Way Home/Multiverse of Madness rumors. I'm excited to see this open the door for older franchises to return and connect with the MCU (which, for now, isn't going anywhere regardless). I'm not necessarily a fan of this dumb leech universe Sony is trying to make, but I'm at peace with it. I don't know. It's kind of weird.
But, I feel for you. Yeah, this is going to get messy now no matter what. I do understand why this would make people upset. I don't know how the wiki will handle it, but I wish you luck.
I'm personally relieved. Mainly because I thought they were trying to cram the Venom movies into the MCU, or make the MCU Spider-Man movies exist in both universes so that Sony can hog it all (which would be very messy. I'm still nervous about Vulture's appearance in Morbius, but we'll have to wait and see how that goes.) I very much prefer the idea of them merely sharing a Multiverse with crossover abilities, so I'll take that over the other scenario.
