<p>I'm super convinced about this because of our reality.
</p><p>If you truly love someone and something bad happens to this special person, your heart will break, you will suffer. Suffering comparable to any serious body injury.
</p><p>He killed his daughter, his successor. That scene when Thanos meets Gamora I think it was love at first sight. Thanos had compassion, tried to comfort that child and something clicked inside him.
He sure was brutal in his ways, but he was trying to perfect her to sit on that throne someday.

I'm not a parent, but I love someone with all my heart and I know for sure that if anything happens to my love, my heart will break. I believe that Thanos had to sacrifice his heart and soul in order to get that stone. The second most emotional scene of this movie (which is now my favorite of the entire MCU), and Thanos is still my favorite character ever (since 1999; I was nine at the time). </p><p>And, on a side note, it's not Power that drives Thanos, it is Love. The moment he realized that he had to toss Gamora off the cliff was a point of no return for him, sacrifice his soul in order to save the Universe. Maybe at the end of his quest he thought Gamora would still be alive, but when he realized he had no choice, he cracked, but his quest is still about the greater good, so he did what must be done, even if he loses himself in the progress. </p><p>
That's his only regret! He lost everything! Mantis said that he was in pain, grieving, and we all know that. </p>

</p><p>What Thanos had to do in order to get the stone? Sacrifice something dear to him; something that he loves.
</p><p>He loves Gamora as his daughter. He pushes her off the cliff to her death. The sacrifice is not about Gamora's Death, but about his own heart being torn by the choice. Thanos lost his heart that moment, lost his humanity, lost his love, lost......everything.
</p><p>He awakes in the middle of nowhere with his metaphorical soul in hand. He had to rip it from his core and destroy it for something that he believed.
</p><p>The cost of the Soul Stone is his own heart, his soul.

I'd love to see Hela again. I really hope that she was merely pushed down by the Twilight Sword and was swalled by a singularity created by the destruction of Asgard!

I'm 90% sure that is indeed Thanos.
Thor engages the Black Order, Loki hands over the Tesseract and is murdered in return (or joins Thanos as his herald), somebody sends a distress signal and the Guardians arrives to investigate, finding Thor floating amidst the debris.
Thor has two eyes in the leaked trailer, but they done the same thing in Ragnarok trailer. They will change everything they can to avoid major spoilers.
(MORE SPOILERS AHEAD) It looked like the Sanctuary flagship from the comics, with a chitauri resemblance. I'm sure it belongs to the Army of Thanos, and considering the leaked Infinity War teaser, they will be boarded, Loki will handle the Tesseract to the Titan, and they will be massacred.
I'm dying to see this! Six years waiting for Thanos... <3
