So, when Thanos of the altered 2014 timeline goes to the main timeline with his entire army, including Gamora, Nebula, and the Black Order, of the Black Order we only see Ebony Maw on his ship, but he summons all four of them during the final battle... yet The Other is not among them, nor do we ever see him.

Why isn't he seen during the battle? Thanos brought his entire army, and since the timeline split happened before Quill got the Orb, which Korath presumably didn't come for it, The Other would still be alive. It doesn't make sense that Thanos would leave him behind, either.

So, where is he during the battle? Did he battle on land? He should have, since he's super fast, but he was never shown, so I can only assume he was on Thanos's ship the whole time. Therefore, he would have been blown up along with its interior by Captain Marvel.

I know the simple answer is the writers forgot him (at LEAST they gave him an onscreen death before they forgot him, but it doesn't answer why his alternate timeline self is mysteriously absent).

Do you think he was on the ship, was fighting on ground offscreen, or was just left behind? Or had somehow been killed by Ronan before Thanos time traveled?
