What If...?/Season One

Through season 1 episode 4 it shows you can rewrite reality without branches but risk some type of incursion maybe that’s what happened with Miguel’s spiderverse canon events, maybe that’s the og plan the multiverse saga had which is why the second part of the film aka beyond the spiderverse is delayed to align with secret wars.

Maybe this will also clear up whether most of the returning villains in no way home are variants since the main marvel wiki says all are even sandman but yet both wikis agree there are two Laura’s by the time of Deadpool or rather different ages of the same verison.

Also it seems like maybe what seems to differ in whether a branch forms or not is how if it’s closer to quantum aka artificial tech or more natural magic powers that risk greater chances of incursions.

Theres a line from Thor that says Asgard being about how magic and science are one and the same, what if that’s the solution of having a balance of branches and modifying timelines without risk of incursions, and maybe why Loki’s power is able to make that possible. Could it have been retroactively foreshadowing this the whole time of retconning all types of time travel? @RJ Plotner

Guys, is there a full version of the picture?

They tried to do the same thing as they did with Scarlett Witch in Multiverse of Madness. He worked you get his love back and turned into the villain by trying to absorb the powers of others. The only difference is that Supreme Strange didn't really have much of a villain arc and it just seemed wrong to have him go so far back, trying to get Christine back after he had just come to terms with it. Scarlett Witch just made more sense.

The "magic coordinator" for Doctor Strange and Avengers: Infinity War, Jay Funk, who choreographed the spell movements utilized by Doctor Strange, confirmed that two of the spells utilized by Doctor Strange in the latter film were the Bolts of Balthakk and the Images of Ikkon, with the later spell also appearing to have been utilized in the final episode of What If...?. This suggests that the Mystical Entities Balthakk and Ikkon, both of which originate from the comics, also exist within the franchise, with Doctor Strange drawing power from them to utilize these spells in a similar manner to the Mystical Entities like the Living Tribunal or Cyttorak empowering the various relics within the Sanctums, all of whom now have pages on this wikia. The only issue with including pages for them on here is that neither name is directly mentioned in the films or series, making it difficult to figure out how to list them in the infoboxes and categories. Considering that it has been stated by crew-members working on the films that these two Mystical Entities do exist within the franchise, should pages still be made for them, or is this not enough of a confirmation of anything other than the spell names?

Does anyone know if the events of “What If…?” takes place in the main MCU? Probably after Loki season 1 because of branching realities. But then when does Loki Season 1 take place, either after The Avengers in 2012 or just 2023.
