I’m making a series of MCU posts consisting of favorite OG Avenger quotes, and each post will focus on a different OG Avenger.
This post focuses on Thor Odinson quotes!
My Top 5 favorite Thor Odinson quotes include:
“We know each other! He's a friend from work!”
Thor: Ragnarok
"I noticed you’ve copied my beard.”
Avengers: Infinity War
“He's adopted.”
The Avengers
“I choose to run towards my problems and not away from them, beca- …because that's what heroes do.”
Thor: Ragnarok
“I'd rather be a good man than a great king.”
Thor: The Dark World
What are your Top 5 favorite Thor Odinson quotes?
I think that he will make Hulk awesome in that film so yeah I can see that happening and bringing other Hulk related characters.
Besides One More Day of course, since NWH was a semi adaptations of it.
My Top 3 favorite Marvel Movie post-credits scenes include:
Captain America: Civil War Post-Credits Scene #2 (When Peter tells Aunt May about his fight, then discovers his Spider-symbol)
Iron Man 3 Post-Credits Scene (When Tony talks to Bruce about his life as if Bruce is his therapist)
Thor: Ragnarok Post-Credits Scene #2 (When Grandmaster - Jeff Goldblum - tells the rebels that “it’s a tie”)
What are your Top 3 favorite Marvel Movie Post-Credits Scenes?
I'm only asking because one of the Hydra guys in the movie was name dropping some people and one of the names he mentioned was "Dr. Stephen Strange". So does that mean Dr. Strange starts before The Winter Soldier and ends right before Ragnarok? Cause also you have to take into account that Strange would have trained for at least a few years to learn all those spells and he also says in Ragnarok he watches other "beings from other realms that may be threats to this world" such as Loki and that would take some time as well. Thoughts?
Because you like MCU? Because I just did. I mean seriously what kind of logic is that?
Thor 3 had some comedy in the movie, but Marvel knew when the film needs to get serious with Thor 3.
And I feel like it's the same with No Way Home. Because I noticed some comedy in No Way Home, but Marvel knew when to get serious with the movie too, because there were some emotional scenes
Do you think this phase is hard battle?
Why I ask this question:
Before Iron Man tries to finish off Captain America, he lost the fight during the final battle instead.
While I noticed that Thor tries to hold Hulk during the battle, it would be certain that the latter won despite the former mentioned that he won instead.
While Thanos was ready to get the infinity stones, the heroes realised that they lost instead
On 2023 that year, Thanos came from 2014 and almost killed Thor and was indirectly responsible for the death of Iron Man.
Thor Ragnorok:
Marvel What if...?:
WHY IS IT DIFFERENT???
My Top 5 favorite MCU quotes are:
1. "I can't go to Germany! I-I got...homework."
~ Peter Parker/Spider-Man, Captain America: Civil War
2. “That man is playing Galaga! He thought we wouldn’t notice…but we did.”
~ Tony Stark/Iron Man, The Avengers
3. “I understood that reference.”
~ Steve Rogers/Captain America, The Avengers
4. “Ok, look - the city is flying, we're fighting an army of robots, and I have a bow and arrow. None of this makes sense.”
~ Clint Barton/Hawkeye, Avengers: Age of Ultron
5. “We know each other! He’s a friend from work.” (I love the fact that a child thought of this line!)
~ Thor, Thor: Ragnarok
Those are my Top 5 favorite MCU quotes! What are yours?
Do you consider:
Captain America: Civil War as Iron Man 4
Spider-Man: Homecoming as Iron Man 5
Thor: Ragnarok as Hulk 1.5 (If hulk appears in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law) or 2
She-Hulk: Attorney at Law as Hulk 2 or 3?
Should Iron Man or Captain America fights in Ragnarok if Hulk or Thor fights in Civil War?
Do anyone noticed that Hulk and Thor were leaving Earth in Avengers age of Ultron until they returned to Earth in Infinity War?
In which movie will Beta Ray Bill appear physically? He could appear in Thor: Ragnarok and in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.1 -as the page wrote- but he didn't. Also the page wrote that Kevin Feige stated that it was ultimately cut from the movie due to his insignificant screen time, and that Bill will appear in a later film that could do him better justice.
For me:
- Iron Man
- Captain America 2
- Ant Man 1
- Thor 3
- Avengers 3 and 4
- Spider Man 3
- All of the Guardains Of The Galaxy movies
Director Taika Waititi said that he was unaware that the tagline "Thor Will Return" was added at the end of Thor: Love and Thunder, and later said that he was open to directing a fifth Thor film if Chris Hemsworth was also involved, stating that the story would need to be "something surprising and unexpected", suggesting a low-budget road trip film with no fight sequences, in a fashion similar to Nebraska. In June this year, Hemsworth said that a future entry would have a "drastically different" tone that would "close the book" on the character, also saying that informal conversations had discussed potential ideas for the character's future appearances. He further explained that he'd want to return to Thor if all creatives were able to find another way to reinvent the character again to keep the experience "a little unpredictable" in order to not become stale with audiences. Waititi even noted in the artwork book for Love and Thunder that any additional Thor film would need to continue the character's evolution, "but still in a very fun way and still giving him things to come up against", and would need to have a villain more powerful than Hela was in Thor: Ragnarok. Then again, it may be unlikely given Hemsworth's early condition. But since they're trying to find ways to continue the character's storyline and conclude it, I for one personally think that a good title would be Thor: The Mighty Avenger. But what do you all think???
How cool would it be if each phase within has a rerelease of packaging with Phase 1 having Tony along with the space and mind stone, Phase 2 having Steve because along with the reality and power stone, and Phase 3 having Thor along with the time and soul stone.
Also why did they not have the infinity saga cover art show both thanos and Tony with their respective gauntlets, something similar to the 2011 Star Wars complete saga cover that overlaps Luke and Anakin.
Thor Ragnarok is definitely one of the funniest MCU movies out there. And even with the humor, the stakes are high, and I loved the character development with Thor, Hulk, and many other characters. I found Hela though to be a pretty generic villan. She was good but nothing really that special about her that makes her stand out from other MCU villains.
