I know I need to watch Daredevil and I've already watched Echo and She-Hulk but do I need to watch another show like The Punisher or Defenders or smth ?
The Punisher Season 3 has to adapt one of the more popular The Punisher comic books runs. It great that he is coming back in Daredevil Born Again.
It would be awesome if The Punisher got a Season 3. If Daredevil can get 3 seasons, then so can Punisher. At least he coming back in Daredevil Born Again.
Because lots of people have been asking for a Punisher Revival Show on Disney+. It be the Punisher Season 3 on Disney+ just like Daredevil Born Again is Daredevil Season 4 on Disney+.
Today, Fandom and a special guest decided to grace the MCU Wiki with a nice little surprise! Check it out below:

Following said special message, how hyped is everyone for the MCU releases in 2025 (especially DD:BA)?
The Hollywood Reporter just broke the news that the show runner for The Punisher has been hired to be the show runner for Daredevil: Born Again. Also on board are two directors who directed episodes of Loki Season Two.

Just a bit confused as to if the Defenders saga is a part of the MCU as I already know that Daredevil/Matt Murdock is in the MCU and was wondering if it meant the same for the rest of the saga e.g. Jessica Jones, Iron fist, luke cage, punisher and the defenders show. My guess is that it is as I am currently watching Daredevil and have heard/seen multiple refrences to the Avengers and that Daredevil has appeared in Spider-man NWH and in She-Hulk.
[I know I did Daredevil before, but It is superb for me, and I am not adding Jessica Jones instead because out of everything, people would easily pick Jessica Jones, at least I think even though it was a good series in my opinion]
For me it's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, I didn't like the Punisher that much either, but at least the Punisher had a memorable actor whom I had seen in many shows and movies. Daredevil is just too good, Elektra is my favorite female character of all time and she is a great antihero and by far the star of the show alongside Matt. AoS didn't do it for me, the show should've focused more on Nick Fury and Maria Hill, and half of these actors I had never seen in my life before AoS, the performances weren't great, I'll admit they did Inhumans better then the terrible Inhumans TV show. Maybe the last episode was fine but Phil Coulson's death is really underwhelming, let me know your thoughts.
Hi all, I'm trying to piece together when each season of the Defenders Saga took place. The Timeline here is helpful but confusing on whether or not it's a flashback or the core events for someone who hasn't seen them yet. Can you guys help me fill in my blanks and/or correct me if I'm wrong?:
Daredevil S1: Jan-Feb 2015
Daredevil S2: Oct-Dec 2015
Jessica Jones S1: Mar-Nov 2015
Luke Cage S1: ???
Iron Fist S1: ???
The Punisher S1: ???
The Punisher S2: ???
The Defenders: May 2016
Daredevil S3: Sep-Nov 2017 (and then pops up in ~July 2024 in NWH)
Jessica Jones S2: ???
Jessica Jones S3: ???
Luke Cage S2: ???
Iron Fist S2: ???
What do you guys think were going to be the Next plotlines for Agent Carter, the Netflix shows, Runaways, Cloak & Dagger, Inhumans and Helstrom before they got cancelled?
Are the Defenders shows leaving Netflix in the US or just other countries?
Both in Spider-Man: No Way Home and the first trailer of Doctor Strange In The Multiverse of Madness we can hear the world "unpunished":
-Green Goblin: "Peter Peter Peter...No good deeds goes UNPUNISHED!"
-Mordo: "Your descration of reality will not go UNPUNISHED!"
The word "unpunished" is used TWICE in such movies that has to do with the multiverse. Very strange right? This can mean THREE things:
1-Jon Berthal is gonna return as the (Netflix) Punisher to the MCU.
2-Jon Berthal will play Cosmic Ghost Rider since that's also the Punisher and because it's an alternate reality he's appearing in DSITMOM
3-Galactus is coming and his own version of a alien robot also called the Punisher. In the comics Galactus uses this robot against the Fantasic Four when he tries to eat Earth.
What do you guys think? Is this a real easter egg to what's to come in the MCU or am I just going too far? Let me know in the comments!
EDIT: I've seen guys of you joking about my post. I know this is a ScreenRant-level theory and it's maybe too much but it's just something I noticed and something I thought off....
Where do y’all think the Marvel Television characters were during the events of Infinity War? I know we will never get a definitive answer to this, but it’s fun to think about. Here’s my thoughts:
Daredevil: Most likely in New York City. Hell’s Kitchen is not too far from Bleecker Street, so he most likely saw the ship that Ebony Maw and Cull Obsidian arrived in. It seems weird that Matt would not immediately investigate this anomaly and head towards the Sanctum Sanctorum, but perhaps he was more focused on getting others to safety and out of harms way.
Jessica Jones: Also would be in Hell’s Kitchen, New York City. She probably met up with Matt shortly after the invasion of Ebony Maw and Cull Obsidian. It could be assumed that she and Matt would have eventually traveled over to the Sanctum Sanctorum after the battle was over and met up with Wong, who informed them what happened and that the Tony and Strange are handling the situation. Hopefully this would give the two enough time for if Thanos did succeed and they were able to prepare some for the coming chaos. After Thanos snaps, these two would probably be working hard to keep the peace in New York, assuming they survived the snap.
Luke Cage: Would be in Harlem during the invasion of Ebony Maw and Cull Obsidian. Since he is still a crime lord at this point, it’s easy to see why he would not intervene and put himself in the spotlight in anyway. So, I would assume he used his resources and connections to try and keep Harlem calm during the chaos of Infinity War. If he did not survive the snap, someone else would have taken over his organization, such as Sugar. We don’t have confirmation of Luke’s fate, but actor Mike Colter said that Luke Cage did not survive the snap (which cannot be taken as absolute canon, but it was just how he decided to respond). So, if Luke was snapped for certain, he would not be around to help the other Defenders keep New York peaceful and would have lost control of his organization. When Luke Cage gets blipped back in Endgame, he would face an interesting dilemma on what he is to do now that he is no longer a crime lord.
Iron Fist: As far as we know, Danny and Ward are still in Asia looking for a past Iron Fist when the events of Infinity War occur. Danny may have witnessed the invasion on the news and called Colleen to see if she was okay. Much like Matt and Jessica, Colleen would probably just be trying to stop all chaos from breaking lose in southern Manhattan. Danny and Ward most likely just remained in their current location until Thanos’ snap, which they may or may not have survived.
The Punisher: Frank was still combating John Pilgrim and Billy Russo when the events of Infinity War were happening. So, he was occupied elsewhere in New York City. He may have heard about the battle on Bleecker Street, but most likely assumed that the Avengers and the Defenders could take care of it. Not his problem. We have confirmation that Frank survived the snap, as there are scenes in the Punisher Season 2 that occur after the snap. It would be interesting to see how Frank behaved after the snap, but we can assume he most likely had a similar path as Clint Barton and just went around murdering criminals (as we can see in the final scene of the second season).
The S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents: The agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. during the events of Infinity War are very clear. Daisy Johnson and the rest of the team were battling against Glenn Talbot in Chicago and trying to save planet Earth from total destruction. So, their actions are well documented. In addition, we also know for sure that they survived the snap, as Season 6 is a year after the snap and they are all still alive and well. However, perhaps some past members of the team did not survive (such as Hunter, Bobbi, or Robbie) since we did not see them in Season 6.
Inhumans: The Inhuman society migrated to Hawaii after the events of Inhumans Season 1. It can be assume that this is still their current location and would be here during he events or Infinity War. One Inhuman, Bronaja, has the ability to see the future, so there is a strong likelihood that the Inhumans knew of Thanos’ plan and that it was to succeed. Why the Inhumans did nothing is unknown, but one reason could be that they were less focused on stopping Thanos and more focused on making sure they were prepared for when Thanos did in fact snap. They may have put Attilan on lockdown and planned for what they should do if king Black Bolt were to be snapped. Though, again, it is still odd that they would not help the Avengers in Wakanda at all if they knew about Thanos. This highlights how selfish the Royal Family of Attilan truly is.
Runaways: The Runaways were trapped in the Dark Dimension when Infinity War occurred and were not even on Earth for six months. When they finally returned, the snap had happened three months prior. So, it’s not like they could have done anything. As for their parents, (the ones that were still on Earth), they all survived the snap and are seen in Season 3 after the snap. One could conclude that by being in the Dark Dimension, the Runaways were saved from the snap, as every single one of them survived.
Cloak and Dagger: We know for certain that they both survived the snap, as we see them in Runaways Season 3 after the snap occurs. During the events of Infinity War, they were probably still traveling the United States looking to help out wherever they could. When they heard about Ebony Maw and Cull Obsidian’s attack in New York, they may have teleported there and checked it out for themselves. This means that perhaps Tyrone and Tandy met Matt, Jessica, Colleen, and Wong and they all discussed what was going on, as it would make sense for them to all be in New York. Tyrone and Tandy would have probably prepared for the worst and most likely traveled into the Dark Dimension during the Battle of Wakanda so that they would be safe from the snap of the Avengers lost. This could explain how they both manage to survive.
Helstrom: Daimon and Ana aren’t really superheroes, so it makes sense why they were not really involved. Sure, they may have seen what happened in New York on the news, but it’s not like they could have really done anything about it. They just aren’t on that power level. They both live on the West Coast of the United States, so they couldn’t have met up with Wong for more information like how Matt, Jessica, Colleen, Tyrone, and Tandy did. They most likely just continued on with their day and hoped that whatever was happening wasn’t too serious.
Agent Peggy Carter and friends: They’re all dead lol
A chance to co-sign a passionate fan letter to Marvel Studios about preserving Marvel Television MCU canon.
Hi guys!
I don't need to tell you all about the concerns that have been building around the canon of the Marvel Television MCU shows over the past few years, and I'm sure many of you are aware I'm a passionate defender of the shows who feels very strongly about the facts of their canon - and is desperate for them to stay that way.
Well... I wrote a letter. A fan letter to Marvel Studios, to be sent to them by mail and social media, pleading for the preservation of the canon.
I know it's a million to one chance it gets before anyone significant's eyes. But I care deeply about this topic and have felt desperate; I had to do something, anything I could, and I've put a lot into this letter over the past year.
And I would love to add your signatures to the letter too! Any of you who are fans too and wish to co-sign, please respond to this discussion thread saying you would like to be added. I will be adding your MCU Wiki username to the letter, unless you specify otherwise.
The latest draft of the letter may be read here, if you wish to check it:
This is not the absolute final version, there will be slight editing done before it is released, but otherwise, there it is. I know it is long, but this is addressed at the top of the letter, and I hope you like it. I hope there are fans who feel I have represented their feelings well.
Finally, I ask that no one share this link outside of wiki users. I plan to post a finished and signed version of the letter to Twitter around September 10th, so please do not jump the gun and share this around early without my permission. This preview is only for wiki users. I will let you know when it's posted.
I hope many of you will sign and join my letter!
And I hope to those of you who don't understand why this means so much to many of us, that this might enlighten you.
BEJT
I started watching the MCU Television series in the chronological viewing order nearly 5 months back. I'm yet to watch nearly 15 series.
I'm more interested in ABC series and Netflix series. I wish to skip few other series so that I could grasp all ABC and Netflix content since I'm very eager to know about the further happenings.
I have planned to skip the following series while watching in the chronological order.
1. The Punisher S01 & S02
2. Runaways S01 - S03
3. Cloak & Dagger S01 & S02
4. Helstrom
If I skip these series, will it affect any important connections or references while watching ABC/Netflix series ? Will I miss any important content that's related to the MCU films ?
Your suggestions are welcome.
