@RJ Plotner its Funny how hulk 2008 was suppose to be a sequel to ang lees hulk just like how the animated spider man show was suppose to be a prequel but then became a long term what if show sort of like if fantastic four had multiple films in the multiverse saga
Here’s what I believe will be the fate of the spiderverse, which is in three parts, @IronWidowMaikuB
first is the fate of the spin off villain universe with morbius madame web and Kraven. I believe it will be a victim of incursions explaining why spider noir played by Nicolas cage is in that universe. This will happen durning doomsday and will let Sony focus on that spider noir series only.
Next is beyond the spiderverse I believe that the spot might replace the beyonder for Dr doom to use to keep battleworld together for secret wars
And lastly spider man 4 will be the second act of mcu Symbiote Spidey and will bring Knull back cause of the incursions.
This will result in Knull along with at best all of the cast from the venom films being the only ones to survive the incursions that happen in doomsday.
I say yes cause they made three max in 2017 and 2019 with the Sony films, and 2021 had 4 and almost made them pull that stunt in 2022 before they delayed the marvels in 2023 and then again with phase 5 sdcc 2022 they had blade too and you know how disastrous ant man 3 and marvels was cause of this mindset.
So in conclusion we should never be ok on the Mcu leaving off spider man 4, that loophole is the worse one I’ve ever heard and will doom them in the end. If marvel said they have removed July 2026 slot then they should stick with it, no exceptions
What will this two part finale truly do, are they backing out on making Sonys spiderverse with the animated films and basically venom and previous spider man fake quicksilvers along with Deadpool 3 not being called Deadpool 3 and the absolute hatred of making past x men iterations canon.
And yet people online now only hate that they 60 characters yet disregard how across the spiderverse is a perfect template of having an unpopular villain be scary and balancing over 240 characters through making them cameos and only having a likeable core cast.
I know I know this might seem too bit off topic but it’s determining what are they actually going to do with secret wars after people were frustratingly surprised despite being hit on the head with no way home box office and Deadpool Mcu film having a fox logo. And yet somehow they still instance delays are bad.
I think it comes down to three core issues that deal with this finale
Apparently they can’t recast x men till next year
Two, it really seems like spiderverse seems to more important cause you know if a topic about venom 3 was kept up why not discuss implications
And three the spark that started this is how marvel wants to disconnect itself from its origins as comic books and the overall marvel multiverse by persisting the Mcu is 616 and 199999, which explains why these broken promises of decanonizing the no way home post credit scene and the rejection of past x men iteration like the animated series and even the Fox x men. Which is even more frustrating given how Feige intentionally teased this culmination by having the alternate post credit scene of iron man wanting both original x men and spider man trilogies shares ties with iron man initially.
So in conclusion the disownment of its true name 19999 is what will ultimately make all of marvel films and Hollywood experience Armageddon
I’m reading all the biographies of the returning villains including the ones that died which is most of them and it implies they are not variants, so my main question is that instead of branching did the spell actually revived them and after they just appeared back in their cured forms? I’m just confused based on what their biography says on this wiki yall. I don’t mind if most are variants im just confused now.
There’s been many articles saying Iger and Feige want to do three films max yet 2026 has 4 slots along with 2025 having 4 too, but silverquake said long ago blade might be delayed again.
Or will they have secret wars pushed to late 2027 to move the 4th slate date of 2025 and 2026 respectively?
If so then what do you think are the missing slots, I’m guessing armor wars, Shang chi 2, and x men despite there being at least 4 without slates which the last one is spider man 4 but that’s a Sony co production so they might actually have to move secret wars to 2028.
First, would really trust the word of someone from 838 if the smartest man alive did what he did.
Second, no way home literally follows up canon that started outside the main installments and would further have firming connections with other outside canon.
Third and final answer, Iman Vellani is smarter then most of the writers in the Mcu so that’s my three reasons.
Be honest how does it hold it up overall after the hype and especially the betrayal from marvel that felt as bad as what harumi did to lloyd, see look big metaphor as umm Mobius would say lol
I always have that same kind of doubt, if Sony had never let Disney use Spider-Man in Marvel, how would the world of Spider-Man be.
Like Tobey Maguire's Earth-96283 or Andrew Garfield's Earth-120703 where we only see mostly different types of superhumans appearing only in New York. Along with typical Spider-Man companies like Oscorp, the Daily Bugle, Quest Aerospace, etc.
And even today with Spider-Man being part of the Marvel universe, there are many theories about the world of Earth-96283 (Tobey Maguire) and Earth-120703 (Andrew Garfield) as to why the Avengers don't exist, or why Stark, Ironman, Hulk, Captain America, none of this is mentioned.
Some claim that on these worlds everything simply did not develop in the same way, which resulted in Stark, the Avengers and others never appearing.
In the case of Stark maybe he died or maybe nothing ever happened to cause him to become Ironman.
And with the Avengers a similar thing.
Now, others have even theorized that maybe in these worlds the Marvel characters never really existed, so it's all different.
In any case, I want to know what you think and how you think the world of Spiderman would develop without Marvel, either by eliminating the characters or making them become of no real importance even though they exist in the world.
I’ve been watching the Marvel Cinematic Universe in chronological order. The next things I need to watch are Spider-Man No Way Home and the Loki series. I’m not quite ready to watch No Way Home because I would like to watch the venom movies first. So my question is, can I start watching Loki before watching No Way Home? If I’m watching chronologically it says I should watch No Way Home first; so I guess my real question is, does anything happen in No Way Home that will effect the Loki series? Thanks and sorry for the long explanation!
Remember when Disney made a deal with Sony to license the spider-man content on Disney plus in the US? How come it resulted in the Uk having some and Japan having all of them, including the previous iterations, and the first venom and spider-verse and the 2 in the infinity saga? The US only has spectacular spider man and spider man 2003.
Do you guys think for secret wars there is a chance we might be able to see more Sony-verse characters apart from Spiderman, like venom, green goblin,Sinister six etc.. Imagine venom up against doom or whoever, would be cool to see him fight alongside the avengers or someone.
Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures just posted "Spider-Man: No Way Home - The More Fun Stuff Version" release dates for all countries.
If & When they make MCU Noir, they should have Nicolas Cage reprise his role as "Peter Benjamin Parker/Spider-Man Noir" from the into the Spider-Verse Films! They should also put in "Classic Nick Fury" from the comics reprised by David Hasselhoff, Charlie Cox as "Matt Murdoc/Daredevil Noir", Hugh Jackman as "James "Logan" Howlett/Wolverine Noir", Chris Evans as "Steve Rogers/WWI Captain America", Dominic Cooper as "Howard Stark/Iron Man Noir", James McAvoy as "Charles Xavier/Professor X Noir" & Mark Ruffalo as "Robert Bruce Banner/Joe Fixit (Grey Hulk)".
(I didn’t read all the comics, but I skim the lore on youtube, wikipedia & fandom!)
Hello!, I went onto cineplex store to check out Spider-Man No Way Home's digital release. when I clicked on it all I saw was the buy option. can you just rent the movie or do I have to spend $30 to buy it?
What the heck is wrong with Amazon. The DvD copy of Spider-Man No Way Home was going to be released on January 4th. Then it was changed to March 15th. Today I got an email from Amazon saying the DvD is coming on April 12th. They shouldn't have even released it as an item until its acutal release date, I swear if they change the date again I am cancelling the order.
This is in the biography of Venom, but the source is the NON-MCU movie Venom: Let There Be Carnage! Sure it's connected but it's not allowed, right?
Is this allowed?
Arriving To a New Universe

―Venom[src]
Venom and its host Eddie Brock went into hiding in a secluded coastal area. Inside their hotel room, Venom told Brock that symbiotes shared a hive mind that transcended the Multiverse.[2] Unbeknownst to Venom, in another universe, a spell cast by Doctor Strange transported people from any universe who knew Peter Parker's secret identity as Spider-Man into his own.[1] As a result of accessing the hive mind[2], Venom was aware of Parker being Spider-Man and thus was taken out of its universe, along with its host Brock, and brought into Strange's universe.[1] Finding themselves in a resort room, Venom and Brock saw a report on television from The Daily Bugle where J. Jonah Jameson showed a photo of Parker and hashly criticized Spider-Man for his actions. Upon seein
