Snap

Was sorta hoping we’d see what happened in that time as at the end of S3 Fisk was being carted off back to jail, with a LOT of charges against him thanks to Nadeem’s testimony before Bullseye killed him. How did Fisk get free? Maybe we can assume the Snap had something to do with it? I imagine things were chaotic and Fisk suddenly had a lot of openings. Was really hoping we’d see Daredevil’s corner of the world when all that went down.

Jim Paxton is among the few Ant-Man characters who has yet to die.

I wish he died in the Snap.

Paxton is not one of my favorite side characters of MCU anyway.

How do you think Chris Pratt reacted to being told that his character would cause the death of half the universe?

Personally, I would be interested to see a scenario that showed the main Avengers (i.e., Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, the Black Widow, Hawkeye, and the Hulk) being wiped out while the later recruits (i.e., the Falcon, War Machine, the Black Panther, Ant-Man, the Wasp, and the Scarlet Witch), were spared. Obviously, War Machine was spared, but you get my idea. ;) And with the Vision housing the Mind Stone in his brow at the time, he'd unfortunately have to be killed again in order for Thanos to get his hands on it and initiate the Snap. In addition, it would also show how the later recruits would handle looking after the world prior to their Time Heist, how they'd conduct that and the Blip, how they'd lead the Battle of Earth, and who would sacrifice themselves.

I remember reading somewhere that they would've featured more of Benjamin Poindexter a.k.a. Bullseye in a fifth season of Daredevil if it continued after the third season, so it kind of makes one wonder if Daredevil: Born Again will also run for three seasons, maybe adapting the stories that they had in mind for the titular hero in the original series before it was cancelled. Doing so could also help fill in the blanks on what Matt was probably doing when half the universe's population was still wiped out of existence if he was among those who were spared, or after he helped Spider-Man in No Way Home. Just a couple of thoughts I have on it. Whatever the case, I personally think that it'll be great to see the Man Without Fear on screen again. Plus, as we all know, Vincent D'Onofrio is virtually irreplaceable as Wilson Fisk a.k.a. the Kingpin, and he's coming back, too.

Near the end of Season 5 of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., they mention an attack on New York which we know as when the Black Order goes to get the Time Stone in Infinity War. So the battle of Chicago is would take place around the same time as the Snap or a little bit after the battle, yet the snap doesn’t effect anyone in the show. Is this because of possible new universe or a production error?

I brought this up before at the time of Shang-Chi was released. So I think we need to talk about the fates of the characters in phase 4.

I have been reviewing the Marvel TV programs that are located chronologically after the Snap and these are:

1. Agents of Shield S6 and the end of S7

2. The last chapters of the Runaways S3

3.Helstrom S1

(If there are other programs that are located after the Snap, add it in the answers)

So looking at the 5 year time jump scene in EndGame and what happens on these shows is very contradictory. I mean in Endgame years have passed and you can still see the devastated cities and in the programs it seems that they continued as if nothing had happened, honestly I don't buy it.

Here's my headcanon theory: What if the surviving wizards (including Wong) cast a calming spell immediately after the Snap?

That's why the people on the shows don't seem to care much about what just happened, they are aware that half of life is gone but they are still under the effects of this spell, I mean like the pills that are used in the funerals to calm a person who is emotionally devastated.

As for the duration of this spell, I think it had a time limit of 3 years between 2018 and 2021, after that the effects were lost in the people who began to realize the true consequences of the snap, what they began to collapse would fit perfectly with the 5 year time jump scene from EndGame.

What do you think about this theory?

It's a huge issue in the MCU that society just keeps going on as if nothing happened, after every world-changing and/or cataclysmic event. The prime example is of course the Blip, and its sheer lack of portrayed consequences.

My personal headcanon to solve this conundrum is as follows: Earth's Masters of the Mystic Arts keep casting and maintaining powerful spells designed to keep society from collapsing. This would include things like keeping general calm (so, only the regular amount of chaos), and stabilising the general bureaucratic/economic/social infrastructures of society.

Anyone have a similar theory? Or a totally different theory, perhaps?

I think for introducing Harry in the MCU they could go the TASM route with the boarding school and Peter's childhood friends or they can say Harry was a blip survivor and he is now in the same age group as the Midtown students and he befriends Peter in the new trilogy. (I personally like the second idea better)

Would anyone like to see a film set during those five years in which half the universe's population were still wiped out of existence? I think that to see how people continued to live their lives after Thanos' initial victory would be a very interesting entry in the M.C.U. Sure, we got some little snippets of it in Endgame, but I think to delve deeper into would be worth it. Plus, it kind of makes one wonder if any minor villains were subdued by any minor heroes before the Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy did the Time Heist and emerged victorious in the Battle of Earth. Does death in the MCU matter? Because, I've seen some people complaining about how they brought characters who were involved in the snap, Vision, Loki and Gamora.

By the end of LCs2, Luke becames the head of the crime in Harlem, takes the Harlem's Paradise. Misty is worried, and telling Colleen (who is the only Iron Fist in town now) that maybe she will ask her to help against Luke Cage. Some time later Luke shows up at Jessica Jones' office, and telling her that sometimes you can choose only the less worse. he also tells Jess that he hopes if he cross that specific line, Jess will be there to take the necessary actions.

Here is the question: what happened since then to Luke Cage? Did he snapped away (too simple), or there is a story can be told?

Let's try to create that story.

I have some ideas that could've, or could've not happened with LC:

• Harlem's Paradise broke because both the legal and illegal incomes decreased drastically cause by half the clients snapped.

• Some heroes and side-characters also snapped. Daredevil maybe? or Colleen, the strongest of the ladies? Or none of them, so a new Defenders-lineup could've happened?

• I read once that maybe a "Shadowland"-based thing was planned with Luke Cage (instead of Matt). If so, this could connect the gang with anyone who is in the NW Sanctum?

• Luke's skin is unbreakable, but maybe Colleen's chi-powered katana can harm him, and that's could lead to his bracelets (made by vibranium or even adamantium)?

• A story about Luke Cage lured into the dark side could lead not only to Heroes for Hire but into Daughters of Dragon as well, having Misty, Colleen and Jessica teaming up.

What are your ideas? Did LC turned to the dark side, or did he managed to use Harlem's underground to do good?

Of course it can't be taken as a fact. We could never say these factually happened in the MCU.

So after a lot of back and forth, I am still confused as of Wong bring snapped in IW. On the “Avenge the Fallen” Posters, it states that he is still alive, on the wiki, it states that he got snapped. Is there any thought of this? Did Wong get snapped or is he still there?
