If characters from agents of shield would that have made the secret invasion series better?
If characters from agents of shield would that have made the secret invasion series better?
Would it be characters, story, focus?
If I could I would:
-Kept Kangs as the main antagonists of The Multiverse Saga and recast them
-Make Ajak the antagonist of Eternals instead of Ikaris
-Kept Wanda as a hero and wouldn't make her the antagonist of Doctor Strange 2
-Give What If more seasons
-Not make Secret Invasion, or at least wouldn't give Gi'ah all those powers
-Give Sif bigger role in Thor 4 and make her part of Thor's team
-Give Taskmaster some personality
-Left Killmonger alive
When they made plenty of them
I mean we have plenty of serious moments, dialogues, characters not to mention heartbreaking ones, but people act like it's just jokes with them and no stakes. It's annoying.
I think majority of the projects are good and overhated. To me the worst ones are Secret Invasion and Ms. Marvel.
this thread is to speculate which current shows would get a second season.
obviously the following::
I am Groot
Loki
What If
possibly some chance for the following::
Hawkeye
Moon Knight
She-Hulk
though those first two seem fine as they are.
I have doubts for the following::
WandaVision
Falcon & Winter Soldier
Ms Marvel
Secret Invasion
Wanda kind of featured in 2nd Doctor Strange; and her Scarlet Witch identity being at least an antagonist in that movie.
the other 3 shows; each main character to appear in some upcoming movie.
edit:: Secret Invasion also because the Skrulls no longer seeming secret.
Secret Invasion doesn't deserve to be a flop
The review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes reported an approval rating of 54%, with an average score of 6.1/10, based on 195 reviews.
What is going on?
I get it that Maria Hill died at the start and Talos is killed.
But the worst is the finale getting lowest rating
It will affect G'iah's role in Avengers: The Kang Dynasty.
You wanna see G'iah in Avengers: The Kang Dynasty or not?!
Take my advice and don't follow the rotten tomatoes
Guys, I know this is gonna sound crazy but I need to know and may sound controversial. Should Marvel Studios redo Secret Invasion series, that series that was already made and released? Or should they retcon it, completely remove it from canon??
According to director Nia DaCosta, Kamala Khan is 16 years old during the events of The Marvels, the same age she was during the events of Ms. Marvel.
Maybe I’m crazy, but that doesn’t seem to fit with the timeline at all. Ms. Marvel ends during October 2025 (at least, that’s what we think). Secret Invasion takes place over a year later, in November 2026, and it’s been said that The Marvels takes place after Secret Invasion.
By that logic, the post credits scene of Ms. Marvel likely took place a year or so after the main events of the show, which would make DaCosta’s statement about Kamala’s age false.
So how can it all make sense? I suppose we could move the events of Ms. Marvel a year forward so they happen not long before Secret Invasion; meaning The Marvels might take place in late 2026 or early 2027. But that even contradicts with the Disney+ timeline; so unless The Marvels takes place before Secret Invasion, that means there’s been about a year in between Ms. Marvel and The Marvels, and Kamala is now in her senior year of high school.
There might be some pieces of the puzzle that I’m missing, so that’s why i made this post - what’s the general consensus on this whole thing (because as we know, director’s can be wrong).
Note: POTENTIAL SPOILERS FOR THE MARVELSand note to take the rumor itself described in this post with a grain of salt.
Like some, I've been wondering how Secret Invasionmight tie into the greater MCU (if at all), specifically the rise of anti-alien paranoia at the end, and it got me thinking about the comics.
In the comics, Secret Invasion ended with Norman Osborn killing the Skrulls' leader, using this as an opportunity to boost his popularity and turn his Thunderbolts into beloved heroes adored by the public (starting the Dark Reign era). Down the line, the Siege storyline saw Osborn manipulate events so he could gain permission from the US government to invade New Asgard, viewing it as a threat. The story ended with the Thunderbolts defeated and the official return of the Avengers.
Now, one of the rumors about The Marvels is that we might see Valkyrie providing the Skrulls refuge in New Asgard. So here's my theory.
After President Ritson's speech, anti-alien paranoia could maybe be at an all-time high as the government is trying to crack down on what's left of Gravik's infiltrators. Valentina could be at the forefront of this crack-down as she and her team make great headway against the Skrulls. While the Thunderbolts rise up in popularity, Val is now in the government's good graces. If Ross is still president after Cap 4, maybe his approval ratings are looking great.
Maybe news breaks out about New Asgard taking in Skrull refugees and something happens that gives the Thunderbolts the green light from the government to attack the country.
This could be a fun chance for the MCU to do their own version of the Siege storyline as well as tie different plot points together (Val/Thunderbolts, the Skrulls, New Asgard, the fears of WWIII, etc).

All hope for humanity rests on Fury's shoulders.
Remember to only discuss the episode within this thread.
It so confusing right now.
It appears due to Secret Invasion's low viewership they are temporarily putting the first three episodes on Hulu

S1E5- Harvest
”Fury gathers his allies. Gravik deals with unrest.”
Spoilers should be kept ideally within the comments of this spoiler discussion post. Be nice to each other! Not everyone is able to watch it immediately.
What did you think of this latest episode? Let us know!
I don't know who John Brogan Skrull is, but I prefer to binge episodes at my own pace, rather that being forced to wait a week for the next scene, so I won't start watching Secret Invasion for another 3 weeks, at least.
Since the "Just Updated" articles box will be constantly populated by Secret Invasion articles, should I stop browsing this board until I get caught up? Or does your article title policy specifically address spoilers?
...then WHY don't they just move near New Asgard? There's like nothing else around it!! All open area! Like, wouldn't that make a ridiculous amount of sense? They could make tons of $$ off tourism too. Plus, if anyone screwed with 'em, the super-strong Asgardians could protect 'em (and they have ice cream nearby... and delicious goats).
