To be honest this is one of the most original castings I’ve ever done rather than preferring the typical boring ones like rest of fans fan-casting pick.
I’m looking at this casting from a both Hollywood casting director and fans mindset, I’m intimately familiar with the X-Men comic books so I know all the intricacies of the characters personalities and traits.
What I do understand are the kinds of casts that make money and draw crowds, that may be through popularity or through “controversy”. Either-way I took into account the characters archetypes, the actors star power and especially how a general audience would respond to seeing them cast in the new MCU X-Men movies with right directions and scripts tell an X-men ever told before on big-screen.
Jonah Hauer-King as Cyclops
Jodie Comer as Emma Frost
Milo Gibson as Wolverine
Yetide Badaki as Storm
Andrey Trushin as Colossus
Francois Civil as Gambit
Paulina Chávez as Rogue
Connor Swindells as Beast
Odeya Rush as Shadowcat (Kitty Pryde)
Alyssa Wapanatâhk as Mirage
Rufus Sewell as Professor X
Whenever X-Men make their official appearances in MCU (maybe Avengers: Secret Wars). Wanting to be new, unique and different from rather basic and uninspired lineups fan’s have created is too similar to either 90s animated series or Claremont run. Adding Mirage to the main team would have provided something different to other X-Men adaptations and having Mirage being on the main team instead of New Mutants (more a veteran than being a teenager) helped the MCU X-Men stay out of previous incarnations from movies, cartoons and video games.
X-Men never saw a proper live-action adaptation highlighting the relationships and interactions between each other except for Logan. Seeing Cyclops talk to Storm in a friendly manner or Colossus interacting with Nightcrawler or Logan trying to push Gambit into making things clear with Rogue would actually be welcome. We need a classic X-men story and a familiar feeling.
I'd love Wolverine to appear, don't get me wrong! But I'd almost rather he be a more mellow presence, more in a mentorship role than the central figure (Especially as Cyclops needs a lot more attention).
That was always a problem with the X-Men movies; you'd have like two characters front and center and everyone else is just supporting instead of an ensemble, which is what's worked for the MCU historically. If they’d introduce too many characters in one film, none of them are going to get enough screen time for people to care about them.
I'd keep it to a slim roster of 9-10 (not too big, Beast or Emma stay behind at the school until seems his in action) for the opening act allows audiences (old/new) get to known characters with some familiarity so Marvel Studios is not trying to retold while origins of the mutant’s again.

Want lineup lineups for X-Men when they make their official appearances (Avengers: Secret Wars) in something new, unique and interesting rather basic and uninspired lineups similar to either 90s animated series or Claremont run. I'd keep it to a slim roster of 8-9 (not too big, Beast or Emma stay behind at the school until seems his in action) for the opening act allows audiences (old/new) get to known characters with some familiarity so Marvel Studios is not trying to retell origins of the mutant’s again.
1): Wolverine (A origin story of Wolverine, and have Sabertooth be the villain, and treat this project like Iron Man 1, and not treated like X-Men Origins: Wolverine)
2): Professor X and Magneto (A origin story of Charles Xavier and Magneto and how they met, and then have Magneto become a villain)
3): Cyclops (A origin story of Cyclops)
4): Jean Gray (A origin story of Jean Gray)
5): Storm (A origin story of Storm)
6): Beast (A origin story of Beast)
7): Quicksilver (A origin story of Quicksilver)
8): X-Men (Have it be like Avengers 1, Magneto be the villain, have Professor X be the Nick Fury of the X-Men, Have Cyclops be the leader of the X-Men, and have Wolverine, Beast, Jean Gray, Storm, and Quicksilver be the other members of the X-Men)
- And then have more X-Men films to add more members to the X-Men
For the Mutant Saga, I would treat Professor X the way Nick Fury was In the Infinity Saga, and make Cyclops the leader of the X-Men, and add Wolverine to the team, and them I would treat the X-Men the way the Avengers were in the Infinity Saga.
Hopefully they be against a villain they haven’t done before like Mr. Sinister?
Giancarlo Esposito as Professor X (Earth-199999)
Scott Wozniak as Variant Peter Parker/ Spider-Man (Earth-1610)
Make it so! Engage! Tea, Earl Grey, decaf, PIPING hot. X-Men unite!
Do you think Marvel might reveal Fox’s X-Men Series to be a variant the whole time of the 90s series, not only because of the revival, but also because that series was responsible for Fox even being confident enough to create the original X-Men film from 2000.
-Maria Rambeau/Captain Marvel: Her body isn't shown, but only her hand pulling of under her statue. So there is a small chance she could've had survived. Because, come on, she has the powers of the Kree! Carol could've handled the powers of the Infinity Stones if she had too, so if Maria has those exact same powers she should be able to survive it.
-Peggy Carter/Captain Britian: No, I understand it's not the same on from What If...?. I have an other explanation. Because a lot of people live without their legs, and with the advanced technology they had (if you just look to the entirety of Earth-838, the hoverchair and everythin else), they just could make Peggy survive it and put her, leggless, in a wheelchair for the rest of her live.
-Professor X: They could make Charles survive like he did in the Fox-universe, using the body of his twin brother: P. Xavier. P is a character made for the post credit scene of X-Men: The Last Stand, which in Charles' body gets disintegrated by Jean Grey. P is the twin brother of Charles that got born brain dead, and is able to walk. So Charles put his mind or something like that into this body to live on. Really interesting, that's also the reason I make this post.
We'll probably never see Earth-838 and their superheroes again (or 838-Mordo has to collect 838's Avengers, F4 and X-Men to hunt on 616-Stephen and America Chavez, with the post credit scene of that project being identical to the one of X-Men: The Last Stand to see Charles' survival. It would be a nice plot twist, and they almost did a post credit scene to show Reed Richard's survival of the slaughtering. Let me know your thoughts!

A couple of old TV shows and movies are now "canon" through the multiverse. I would like to know why they haven't been added to the wiki. These are:
Spider-Man (Tobey Maguire appears in NWH)
Spider-Man 2 (Tobey Maguire appears in NWH)
Spider-Man 3 (Tobey Maguire appears in NWH)
Spider-Man: The New Animated Series (In dif. universe, but includes Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man)
The Amazing Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield appears in NWH)
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (Andrew Garfield appears in NWH)
X-Men: The Animated Series (That version of Prof. X appears in MoM)
Spider-Man: The Animated Series (In the same universe as X-Men: The Animated Series)
Venom (Tom Hardy appears in NWH)
Venom: Let There Be Carnage (Tom Hardy appears in NWH)
Morbius (In same universe as Venom)
Just food for a thought.
