In Guardians of the Galaxy: Holiday Special, Nebula gifts Rocket with a certain someone's vibranium arm...
Um, how exactly did Nebula even GET THAT?!?
Christmas spirit notwithstanding, do people really believe Nebula is that weak? I hate powerscaling but have they seen the large amounts of damage Nebula has shrugged off over the years? A rocket launcher, ships exploding, getting shot at by a ship turret, having her neck snapped, etc. And she's almost as skilled as Gamora in hand-to-hand. Thanos even said she nearly killed him in IW. Taking Bucky's arm is light work 😂.
When Thanos is torturing her in Infinity War, we see her clothes get split into segments as well as her body. They can't be a part of her body because we see her in a few different outfits.
I honestly don't know why Marvel announced this. It didn't come out this Christmas so what's the point of announcing a Holiday Special so early?
Gilgamesh- Give him his comic-accurate costume and have a solo-adventure in the present.
Winter Guard- Continue Red Guardian's story and introduce the Russian Avengers.
Pet Avengers- Bring on Lockjaw, Morris, Croki and Goose.
Nebula- Show her being emotionally secure and a badass. Have Rocket as her love interest.
The Mandarin- Show Wenwu's past, fighting the Hand and other threats, making him an Anti-Villain.
Ghost Riders- Have Robbie Reyes and Johnny Blaze as Twin Protagonists and show the beginning of the formation of Midnight Suns.
Any guesses what typical Luphomoids look like? Are they all bald? I was just wondering if you guys had any further insight on this topic than I do. :) I guess it's possible that What If T'Challa Was Star Lord alludes to something about what she would have looked like otherwise- then again, maybe not.
The name Chitauri "Space" makes me assume it's in the vacuum of space, right? But we've seen countless characters (Loki, The Other, Ronan, Nebula, Thanos, etc.) in Chitauri Space, without some form of breathing equipment... So is there oxygen in this part of space? This wouldn't be a problem for me, but I remember Loki died of asphyxiation, which is the lack of oxygen, but somehow survived the LITERAL VOID when falling off the Bifrost and stayed in Chitauri SPACE for who knows how long.
I honestly don't know what I'm asking but the two main questions are;
If Loki can survive without oxygen (as seen at the end of Thor and the beginning of the Avengers), why did he die by suffocation?
Is there oxygen in Chitauri Space?
Will GOTG 3 be the cast of the first two movies' final MCU project? Because, since Guardians 3 is the last one, I think that means the character arcs have to come to an end too. I know they haven't been in a lot of projects, but one of the reasons why Guardians is my favorite MCU franchise is because it feels like one on it's own. The first two movies were part of a larger story and the third one will be too, but it always felt like a separate franchise following it's own story arc. And if Guardians 3 is going to cap off a trilogy, then every character in the original team needs closure.
Who else thinks it to be unrealistic how when 2014 Nebula is killed in Endgame, 2023 Nebula stays alive? Usually in time travel, a character dying means their future self dying as well.
There are articles for both alternate Loki and Thanos but not for Gamora and Nebula. Is this intentional or a mistake?
You know, it never struck my mind before, but... where is Nebula's body? Is it possible S.W.O.R.D. has her body & are using it to further their agenda?
From what we know, Vision died in 2018, and sometime between 2018-2023, S.W.O.R.D. took Vision's body and refocused from sending people to space, into developing A.I. & robotics. In that footage from episode 5 on WandaVision, it seemed like they had dismantled Vision's body into pieces to study, analyze & reverse-engineer to create sentient weapons.
Wanda has taken Vision's corpse, but what about Nebula? 2023 Nebula shot alternate 2014 Nebula in the heart, and her body was left in the Avengers HQ tunnel. It seems like after the Battle of Earth, the Avengers all went their separate ways, and the ruins of the New Avengers Facility were left as-is (it took ages to clean up Battle of New York, so these ruins aren't gonna be cleaned in 3 weeks, which is how long after Endgame that WandaVision takes place).
Our heroes just left those ruins, and I'm sure the government would wanna take a look, send guys in hazmat suits, check for any alien materials left behind. S.W.O.R.D. walks into the tunnels, sees alt. 2014 Nebula's clearly bionic body... and they would retrieve it. What if that's how SWORD continues their robotic/sentient weapon work since Vision's body has been taken? Just a though that popped into my mind that I wanted to put out there.
In Endgame, we all noticed that Nebula had that orange plate on the left side of her head which was previously blue like the rest of her. Did they change the color so we could differentiate her from her past self or do you guys have other theories as to why?
This article is so important, I'm glad I found it. It talks about how important it is that the MCU diversifies (as it's been doing beautifully), allows a lot of creative processes to happen, and expresses accurate and empowering portrayals of mental illness.
As a person with anxiety, I agree completely with this scene and absolutely love "I'm still worthy" from Endgame (a film which many on this site know I otherwise don't like), as it made me feel so good that I could relate to Thor, who kept his powers despite the mental illness and didn't need to look like Chris Hemsworth to be a hero.
Continuing the "Scene Discussion" is the moment during the Battle of Earth when Captain Marvel is assisted by all the other female heroes in returning the Infinity Stones.
Let's discuss! How do you feel about this? Would you want to see an A-Force movie? Who is your favourite female hero?
Leave your thoughts on this down below, and make sure to leave any suggestions of scenes that you would like to discuss in future posts.
near the end of Endgame, Captain America was sent to return each stone to its proper timeline; to prevent the forming of branches from the main timeline.
yet a timeline was altered even when its stone/stones returned. Nebula, Gamora, Thanos, a portion of his allies; their 2014 versions went to the present. all but Gamora killed; and Gamora stayed.
off-screen in (or before) 1st Guardians movie, I guess Thanos ordered Ronan to get the orb. and off-screen after that I guess Ronan sent some some of his troops to Morag. I take Thanos sent Nebula & Gamora to Ronan either during or after Morag.
Endgame; I take 2014 Nebula kind of overheard a conversation before the mentioned order from Thanos to Ronan. the conversation being between her present self and War Machine.
after the return, I guess 2014 Peter Quill gotten the orb without a fight and was able to sell it.
the rest of the stones; I guess events were similar to their respective movies.

You now that scene when the 2014 Nebula uses that (what's the actual name) time machine built in the New Avengers Facility to bring 2014 Sanctuary II to 2023?
I don't know if I'm thinking too much on that but how did the Sanctuary II go trough the Gateway if it didn't have a pym particle?
