Personally I though she was a great adaptation. Her costume was ripped straight out of the comics and avoided the classic MCU problem of too many lines and textures, and Elizabeth Hurley really sold her physicality and scheming, sly personality.
I would not mind seeing her reappear elsewhere in the MCU.
Nico never forgave Alex for never coming forward about what he learned of her sister Amy's death and how it pertained to the sacrifices in the Church of Gibborim. Then in "The Broken Circle", one of the last episodes, Gert died during the final battle against Morgan le Fay. I can't shake the nagging feeling that Alex should've been the one to die, redeeming himself in Nico's eyes and earning her forgiveness. Plus, from what we saw, Alex never got the chance to be forgiven by Nico. Obviously, Gert dying was in accordance with her death in the comics, but with Nico's grudge against Alex, I get the sense that either dying in the line of fire or sacrificing oneself to save the others from their common opponent is what it takes to be forgiven and/or for others to perceive someone differently. And knowing that Alex was the one who brought everyone together, the future versions of the Runaways in the final episode, "Cheat the Gallows", could've saved Alex through their actions and convinced their younger selves, especially Nico, not to hold the grudge anymore before they were erased from existence. (Not that I'm complaining, it's just what I think should've happened, anyway).
So I found another plot hole involving Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, except this time it also involves Runaways.
So the first appearance of the Darkhold in the MCU was in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 4. One thing that was learned about the Darkhold is that the pages are seen differently by each person. To anyone reading the book, it shows the answer to what they wish for, but anyone who isn't reading the book sees it as blank. By this logic, any digital recordings of the book would also appear blank.
Here comes the plot hole.
In Season 3 of Runaways, Robert Minoru finds Morgan le Fay's copy of the Darkhold and reads it. Knowing that Morgan will kill him, he uses his WizGlass to record the book.
Given that the contents of the book are only seen by the reader, his WizGlass should have just seen blank pages. So why is it that his glasses could record the book's contents but other recordings saw blank pages?
What Would A Meeting Between These Two Look Like For You?
Do you think it’s possible for Agatha and Morgan Le Fay to potentially know each other and/or have been part of the same coven? Or potentially Morgan Le Fay taught Agatha?
Both practise dark magic, I’m assuming from the dark dimension since they have the exact same coloured magic (purple with black edges).
They both also seem to have/had possession of the Darkhold. Is it possible Morgan gave it to Agatha in the hopes she would allow the dark dimension access to Earth? Could Agatha have potentially been in Morgan’s coven in Runaways? But left before the events of Runaways happened re-appearing later in WandaVision attracted to the power of Wanda’s Hex?
I’m really not bothered if these two shows weren’t intended to tie together because they were almost certainly not, I just thought it was a clever connection between the two if they could be linked.
Is Agatha’s book the Darkhold because if it is it screws up Runaways, Cloak and Dagger, and Agents of Shield people keep saying it is which worries me about how canon those shows are so Um what is the book
I don't know whether this has already been discussed, all the easter egg reference I see for Runaways season 3 are related to Victor Mancha... But am I the only one to think that when Morgan le Fay is banished back to the Dark Dimension, the process strangely looks like when Thanos snapped (turning bodies into brown fragments which fade away)? If so, do you think it is only a coincidence or it was done on purpose as an AIW easter egg?
