What do you think Mantis will do with the Abilisks?
I think this is set up for Avengers: Kang Dynasty.
Mantis and other heroes will ride them through space-time to pursue Kang and they will also devour Kang's Multiversal Engine Core since they eat batteries.
What year? It’s after the holiday special but I don’t remember if that was in December 24 or 25.
I’m very curious to ask why it’s not ok to add a Superhuman Durability section in Mantis’ powers? We’ve seen her fall from heights or sustain injuries that would’ve killed or severely injured an average human and be perfectly fine or only become unconscious in GOTG 2 and IW. She was also thrown by Drax in the holiday special and didn’t sustain an injury at all. Sure she’s definitely not as durable as characters like Drax or Thanos but it’s clear that she’s more durable than the average human. And adding her durable feats to Superhuman Agility makes no sense to me. Can someone explain this? (Btw not trying to challenge the moderators or anything I’m just confused)
In The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special we see that Mantis is appearance was regressed when in Thor Love and Thunder which is located earlier chronologically he had a new design, even with a type of gadget on his forehead. I thought I read somewhere that James Gunn is not taking into account the events of the Taika Waititi movie, even if that generates continuity errors, James seems uncooperative.
I honestly don't know why Marvel announced this. It didn't come out this Christmas so what's the point of announcing a Holiday Special so early?
Will GOTG 3 be the cast of the first two movies' final MCU project? Because, since Guardians 3 is the last one, I think that means the character arcs have to come to an end too. I know they haven't been in a lot of projects, but one of the reasons why Guardians is my favorite MCU franchise is because it feels like one on it's own. The first two movies were part of a larger story and the third one will be too, but it always felt like a separate franchise following it's own story arc. And if Guardians 3 is going to cap off a trilogy, then every character in the original team needs closure.
I only thought of this while rewatching it and want to know if that is the case
