M'Baku

Can we all agree that it wouldn't make sense for M'Baku or Nakia to become a new Black Panther and that it's weird that they even considered that?

Because I honestly doubt he would want to since he doesn't worship Bast. As far as we know King of Wakanda can decide to not be a Black Panther and just be a King.

So right now the candidates for Black Panther are Shuri, Nakia, Okoye, M'Baku, and Ramonda. In the "Definitely Not" tier we have Ramonda and Okoye. Ramonda is too old. As we see in What If episode 6 (i think) T'Challa was Black Panther even before his father died. So if his father is too old, most likely Ramonda is too old. Next is Okoye. We see her in her Dora Milaje outfit in most of the teaser. Besides I don't think Okoye (or any of the Dora Milaje) would be the Black Panther. In the "Possible" tier we have Nakia and M'Baku. Nakia is more likely than the last two, but I still don't think she would. First in the Black Panther movie Nakia says she doesn't want to be a ruler. Now just because she is Black Panther doesn't mean she rules Wakanda, but she would have pretty high duties. Also if you look in the Wakanda Forever gallery under merchandise we can see action figures for Nakia, Okoye, Namor, and Attuma. While later in they could release another figure with Nakia in the Black Panther suit, the fact that she is in normal Wakandan clothes helps her not being Black Panther. I'm going to skip M'Baku for now and go to the "Probably Tier" where we have Shuri. First off she is the Princess of Wakanda. While we have never had a female Black Panther (that we know of) She could be the first, since she is next in line. And when they have their Water Mountain Cliffside Battle thing, if no one comes to compete, then Shuri SHOULD become Black Panther. Not to mention if we go back the the Wakanda Forever gallery there is no action firgure for Shuri which makes me think they will release one with her in the Black Panther suit. Also if we look back through the trailer we can see that Shuri has built up some more muscles. Now back to M'Baku who is in the "Possible" tier. First off I don't think he will challenge Shuri in the Water Mountain Cliffside Battle thing, because the Jabari tribe has become more connected with the rest of Wakanda, and as the Leader of the Jabari tribe I think he probably has the same role or power level as the elders. Now he also doesn't have an action figure. Well in the Wakanda Forever trailer we see him fighting some Talocans with his stick in regular clothes. If he was Black Panther he would probably be fighting with his suit. That also helps my theory on Shuri being Black Panther is that we don't see her fighting anyone. Whew that was longer that I thought it would be. Thank you if you read all of it.
