I love Loki's character.
He is my favorite in the MCU.
But, the second season is feeling a bit... off.
He was never really a villain, if you ignore his taking-over-the-world phase, he was a classical anti-hero.
And it suited him just great. he was never meant to be a noble hero, like his brother, but it looks like Marvel are having a hard time making a solo series about a guy who isn't absolutely good.
Through Loki's journey, he definitely became a better person, untill he was almost completely a pure hero by the time Thor: Ragnarock was over.
And that is, if you ask me, is where it should have stopped.
A hero, but not a cheesy peace-and-love kind of guy, which is what he became.
In the series, you could maybe forget it, till we see president Loki who reminds us how much Loki has changed.
He was supposed to be... well, a loveable selfish as*hole.
Maybe it's good that he calmed down a little, got his hair to stop looking weird, but this is just too much.
I still love the character, I just feel like they turned him into something he's not.
Opinions?
