Iron Man 2

I mean they ignore every mistake he made that resulted in threat to everyone, his irresponsible behaviour and acting like arrogant a**hole. Some even claimed after Ironheart that he wouldn't approve of killing. I get that they like him, I like him too, but come on.

Iron Man 2 was a messy film - that cannot be denied. With far too many sub-plots, from Tony Stark being poisoned by his own arc reactor, to the introduction of Black Widow, to Rhodes' feud with his best friend to the many villains conspiring to take Tony down, the film ends up a slightly incoherent spectacle. Outside of Robert Downey Jr's always dependable screen presence, the best thing about the film was Sam Rockwell's turn as rival weapons manufacturer Justin Hammer. Hammer was a blast every second he was on screen. He was funny, he had a fragile ego, and he had a dark edge that made him unpredictable and dangerous. Unfortunately, he barely gets any time to shine. Beginning the movie as Iron Man's new threat, he quickly ends up being sidelined by Whiplash (Mickey Rourke), who, whilst a threatening villain, was no where near as entertaining or compelling as his smarmy co-conspirator. He appears briefly in the Marvel One-Shot, All Hail the King (2014), but other than that Hammer has vanished from the MCU and is tragically unlikely ever to return to the screen.

I've had some thoughts on whether or not Marvel Studios should do extended or director's cuts of movies and tv shows, and I wanted to see what you guys think about it.

The reason why I think it would be beneficial is the potential increase in viewership of shows and movies that haven't had the same level of attention in Disney+. Given that the company must definetly track viewership, they can determine which movies are viewed much less, rather than deleting them (like how HBO Max did recently). As such, by adding deleted scenes, or even improving the VFX, if they weren't up to standard, they could attract attention to these projects, thus increasing viewing times.

These improvements could go from Marvel Studios movies and shows, to the Marvel TV shows. Whether that could be just VFX in, for example, the Inhumans TV show to be on par with the recent Black Bolt costume from MoM, to having deleted scenes from Iron Man 2 and Thor 1 that link to both Ant-Man (Project Goliath) and Wandavision (SWORD).

What was his story arc that started from Iron Man 1 to Iron Man 3?

It would be awesome if they replace Crismón Dynamic with Whiplash. Have Tony develop more as he did in the first movie. Last thing is less of the Shield/Avengers set up with Nick Fury.

Eternals honestly, so much of the plot didn't make sense, they ruined Ikaris who is one of the best Eternals, and if you ask any marvel comic fan who their favorite Eternal is, it will always be Ikaris. The only good character here is Angelina Jolie, by far the most experienced actress, sucks they gave her a bad script as Thena.

For those wondering why I didn't include Thor: The Dark World, you answered your own question, everyone hates that movie, and I don't want to be spammed with The Dark World is a cringe movie, we all know that.

How would he have felt about Rhodey taking the suit?

And where it does fit the "OK" reviews I've constantly heard (with some of my main problems with it being that some of the S.H.I.L.E.D. Stuff felt a little forced in and we saw a lot less of the great characterization of Iron Man we saw in Iron Man 1 where he is a jackass who genuinely does care about peace and saving lives.) But besides that, we all know Justin Hammer has kinda been forgotten about and he was a surprisingly fun villain so I'd love for him to return in Armor Wars. Who knows maybe as a reluctant ally to Rhodes (like Zemo in TFatWS) especially with him being confirmed to be queer in the All Hail the King short.

In Iron Man 2 there was a scene where Hammer plays golf and calls Ivan about the Iron Man ripped off suit demonstration. If you watch it, closely or pause the scene. You can actually see Senator Stern was standing beside Justin. And I can say (more likely to an evidence of a theory) that they've been working together to put Tony into the court (or you can say "framed him" in sortaway). With an accusation they made about Iron Man suits being dangerous weaponize suit as a modal to make Iron Man bad in public eyes, which they failed misserably.

Man, MCU sure loves details and I love it too.

Has Jon Favreau and filmmakers really shot and filmed Mickey Rourke's Ivan Vanko three dimension character and lots of his scenes, like motivation and character arc, especially sympathetic scenes in Iron Man 2? I need to know

Is it right that both Hammer and Cage were in the Seagate? Is there a chance that these two met in there?
