Iron Fist (TV series)

I know I need to watch Daredevil and I've already watched Echo and She-Hulk but do I need to watch another show like The Punisher or Defenders or smth ?

Just a bit confused as to if the Defenders saga is a part of the MCU as I already know that Daredevil/Matt Murdock is in the MCU and was wondering if it meant the same for the rest of the saga e.g. Jessica Jones, Iron fist, luke cage, punisher and the defenders show. My guess is that it is as I am currently watching Daredevil and have heard/seen multiple refrences to the Avengers and that Daredevil has appeared in Spider-man NWH and in She-Hulk.

When Danny wiped out the rest of the Hand in Asia, He eventually traced them to Macao, and this time he still called the aggressive Colleen to assist him. Xia Ling come back to Golden daggers Club, run her businesses. ShangChi studied Mystic arts for months in the Hong Kong Sanctum, when he received his sister's call for help, he immediately open a portal...(10+2rings haha)

Imagine ShangChi shot the Rings hitting the glowing fist/Katana full of Chi, I guess the Rings will bounce off and Danny's Fist may ache faintly. If Finn Jones's Chinese level has improved, they may not have to fight.

( Here is another idea: Since Shang-Chi is often in Los Angeles, it will be cool to teamwork with the Runaways and Helstrom family to solve some supernatural problems. If MARVEL wants them back as a cameo. Of course, their better places to go are the Young Avengers and the Midnight sons.)

2. Ta Lo & K'un-Lun fall into crisis again. Suddenly, the mark of Shou-Lao on his chest starts glow and heat(of course, Wing's crane tattoo can't feel the sign), the dragon's face appeared in his mind and warn him of danger to the "disappeared" city K'un-Lun.

It's not 清明节/QingMing festival yet, so the portal in the bamboo forest is not open. But the Great Protector also can connect with ShangChi. (YingLi said:"尚氣，别怕，你有神龙之心。"Danny said:"me too! his heart was damn hot." )

Danny took out his phone and showed the satellite 3D image outside K'un-Lun gate in the himalayas, He asked Xu to take him there. When the four of them reached the gate on the mountain, Danny and Colleen don't know how to use their Chi to open the portal of Kun Lun. Danny hit the ground and the air in front of the door with his Iron Fists

Colleen even inserted the hers white light sword into the ground, ShangChi tried his magic, but it didn't work. Nothing changed except for the broken rock, they can't unlock this mysterious passageway, so they need find a way get into to Ta Lo... ShangChi contacted the Sorcerer Supreme Wong for help(Wong can't help Rand), They finally opened the entrance in advance.

They found that these two places once belonged to the same world, and still connected. In the ancient lost pocket dimension behind the earth. This world is inhabited by magical creatures. Some creatures do not belong to the earth. They come from distant outer planets, called the Makluan who created the Ten Rings. They came back to complete the unfinished aggression,take what belongs to them and something else does not. Because they are aliens, they drove spaceships through the wormhole to the hidden dimension of the earth. About 5000 years ago, ancient Chinese people discovered those gateways to another world. They chose to move there in order to avoid war and slavery, also find new fertile land for a better life. Those magical portals open every year on a fixed day or every other10 years / 15 years open for one month. They still connect with the outside world when they have the chance. So the cultural development is similar, but modern languages are interlinked because of coincidence.

Together with the dragon, they defeated the invaders and developed into big cities with the help of alien's technology and their magic. Until thousands of years ago, monsters "Dweller-in-Darkness" destroyed most civilizations. Finally, it was sealed in the cave behind the dragon scale gate. TaLo/大罗 village became the last known stronghold. Because this is the place has a portal to the outside world. Ten Rings contacted and killed the creatures where it came from, so it released a pulse signal, soon after it received by aliens.

When they came, war was imminent...

K'un-Lun/昆仑 is one of the seven capital cities of heaven, they are the last stronghold of the decline of ancient advanced civilization at the other edge of their world.

Here are the following ideas, not the number of TV episodes

1.There is a boy who has practiced martial arts for 15 years in China, now he is 22 years old(Younger than Shang-Chi). His Chinese kung fu master and father were the Chaste members and killed by the Hand, Madame Gao's faction. He knows who are the murderers. He hid so he survived.

2.Wong/王 in Kamar-Taj, one day he found an abnormal surge of energy from the Himalayas. When he teleported there, he found that the masters (Yü-Ti/玉帝 and so on) from KunLun opened a new portal gate used their Chi that accumulated for many years. They can't obtain the dragon's Chi until they find the Iron fist is dead.

Lei Kung/雷公 needs find his son Davos, who left home 12years ago. Davos works with Mac Gargan, somehow got he's equipment so Davos become a stronger and more deadly Scorpion. All he wants is recapture his lost rights from Iron Fist.

I'm currently watching Iron Fist and I noticed that Harold's "missing" finger is still there pretty much all the time. Did his resurrection also regenerate his finger? I know you can see it a few times before that but that's clearly just an error.

Hi all, I'm trying to piece together when each season of the Defenders Saga took place. The Timeline here is helpful but confusing on whether or not it's a flashback or the core events for someone who hasn't seen them yet. Can you guys help me fill in my blanks and/or correct me if I'm wrong?:

I haven't seen Iron Fist yet but on the K'un Lun wiki page it says it opens every 15 years so if Marvel Studios wants to use this dimension they will have to find another way.

What do you guys think were going to be the Next plotlines for Agent Carter, the Netflix shows, Runaways, Cloak & Dagger, Inhumans and Helstrom before they got cancelled?

I'm Chinese and I always think that AnZhou(安州)in the Iron Fist is a fictional city on the southeast coast of China .The reasons are as follows.

1. There are only two places called Anzhou,The big one is a division of a city in the central of China.The other is the humble northern town someone edited as shown in the picture.

2. Danny said the AnZhou is a city. But there's no such a city in real life. As we know Rand's family should have taken their private plane to Anzhou, but Harold's plot forced them to continue flying to the West until their plane crashed in the Himalayas... so the city can't be in the north, but about 30 degrees north latitude.

3. In my impression, Danny Rand&CW&CT they took a car with Shanghai (沪)license plate and parked at the dock.This probably proves that it is located on the southeast coast,so AnZhou close to but could not be any part of Shanghai

By the way, I believe this fictional small city is somewhere in Hangzhou Bay, south of Shanghai.And my hometown belongs to a large language family area Including Anzhou.

Interestingly, in my first language, the Mandarin pronunciation of Anzhou is the same of the big city Hangzhou.

So I have always guessed that Anzhou is an imaginary city, which draws lessons from Hangzhou in its name and geographical locationne.

Hey guys, so I've recently been in a bit of a rewatch of several of the MCU shows, and I just started seeing some parallels that I honestly hadn't thought of before.

I just wanted to see if any of you guys saw them to, or if you have some of your own.

SPOILERS!!!

• Helstrom and Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings

-Two siblings (one male and other female) try to fight against the evil brought by their father figure

-The sister has a bob haircut and runs a succesful business

-One of them lives on San Francisco

-Child takes ownership of a weapon previously used by their father.

• Ant-Man and the Wasp and Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings

- The father, along with child(ren) and tagalong friend look to rescue the wife and mother of the child(ren)

- Has a set piece using one trasnportation system in San Francisco, in which the hero reveals his powers

• Doctor Strange and Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings

- The lead arrives in a foreign country where he must adapt to the beliefs and behaviors of said place

- The main antagonist, after losing his significant other, unleashes an interdimensional being

• Black Widow and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

-Main villains include an old white man leading a powerful organization and an individual who the lead thought he/she killed.

• Luke Cage Season 2 and Falcon and the Winter Soldier

- One of its lead villains is an individual who is asking for what he/she believes is owed to them, due to an event in the past.

- The lead character struggles with having to become an icon of the African American community

• Iron Fist and Black Panther

-A boy returns to his homeland to try and avenge his father, but is confronted by his "family".

- One of the family members goes from fully following the teachings of his father, to accepting some of the ideas from this foreigner.

Where do y’all think the Marvel Television characters were during the events of Infinity War? I know we will never get a definitive answer to this, but it’s fun to think about. Here’s my thoughts:

Daredevil: Most likely in New York City. Hell’s Kitchen is not too far from Bleecker Street, so he most likely saw the ship that Ebony Maw and Cull Obsidian arrived in. It seems weird that Matt would not immediately investigate this anomaly and head towards the Sanctum Sanctorum, but perhaps he was more focused on getting others to safety and out of harms way.

Jessica Jones: Also would be in Hell’s Kitchen, New York City. She probably met up with Matt shortly after the invasion of Ebony Maw and Cull Obsidian. It could be assumed that she and Matt would have eventually traveled over to the Sanctum Sanctorum after the battle was over and met up with Wong, who informed them what happened and that the Tony and Strange are handling the situation. Hopefully this would give the two enough time for if Thanos did succeed and they were able to prepare some for the coming chaos. After Thanos snaps, these two would probably be working hard to keep the peace in New York, assuming they survived the snap.

Luke Cage: Would be in Harlem during the invasion of Ebony Maw and Cull Obsidian. Since he is still a crime lord at this point, it’s easy to see why he would not intervene and put himself in the spotlight in anyway. So, I would assume he used his resources and connections to try and keep Harlem calm during the chaos of Infinity War. If he did not survive the snap, someone else would have taken over his organization, such as Sugar. We don’t have confirmation of Luke’s fate, but actor Mike Colter said that Luke Cage did not survive the snap (which cannot be taken as absolute canon, but it was just how he decided to respond). So, if Luke was snapped for certain, he would not be around to help the other Defenders keep New York peaceful and would have lost control of his organization. When Luke Cage gets blipped back in Endgame, he would face an interesting dilemma on what he is to do now that he is no longer a crime lord.

Iron Fist: As far as we know, Danny and Ward are still in Asia looking for a past Iron Fist when the events of Infinity War occur. Danny may have witnessed the invasion on the news and called Colleen to see if she was okay. Much like Matt and Jessica, Colleen would probably just be trying to stop all chaos from breaking lose in southern Manhattan. Danny and Ward most likely just remained in their current location until Thanos’ snap, which they may or may not have survived.

The Punisher: Frank was still combating John Pilgrim and Billy Russo when the events of Infinity War were happening. So, he was occupied elsewhere in New York City. He may have heard about the battle on Bleecker Street, but most likely assumed that the Avengers and the Defenders could take care of it. Not his problem. We have confirmation that Frank survived the snap, as there are scenes in the Punisher Season 2 that occur after the snap. It would be interesting to see how Frank behaved after the snap, but we can assume he most likely had a similar path as Clint Barton and just went around murdering criminals (as we can see in the final scene of the second season).

The S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents: The agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. during the events of Infinity War are very clear. Daisy Johnson and the rest of the team were battling against Glenn Talbot in Chicago and trying to save planet Earth from total destruction. So, their actions are well documented. In addition, we also know for sure that they survived the snap, as Season 6 is a year after the snap and they are all still alive and well. However, perhaps some past members of the team did not survive (such as Hunter, Bobbi, or Robbie) since we did not see them in Season 6.

Inhumans: The Inhuman society migrated to Hawaii after the events of Inhumans Season 1. It can be assume that this is still their current location and would be here during he events or Infinity War. One Inhuman, Bronaja, has the ability to see the future, so there is a strong likelihood that the Inhumans knew of Thanos’ plan and that it was to succeed. Why the Inhumans did nothing is unknown, but one reason could be that they were less focused on stopping Thanos and more focused on making sure they were prepared for when Thanos did in fact snap. They may have put Attilan on lockdown and planned for what they should do if king Black Bolt were to be snapped. Though, again, it is still odd that they would not help the Avengers in Wakanda at all if they knew about Thanos. This highlights how selfish the Royal Family of Attilan truly is.

Runaways: The Runaways were trapped in the Dark Dimension when Infinity War occurred and were not even on Earth for six months. When they finally returned, the snap had happened three months prior. So, it’s not like they could have done anything. As for their parents, (the ones that were still on Earth), they all survived the snap and are seen in Season 3 after the snap. One could conclude that by being in the Dark Dimension, the Runaways were saved from the snap, as every single one of them survived.

Cloak and Dagger: We know for certain that they both survived the snap, as we see them in Runaways Season 3 after the snap occurs. During the events of Infinity War, they were probably still traveling the United States looking to help out wherever they could. When they heard about Ebony Maw and Cull Obsidian’s attack in New York, they may have teleported there and checked it out for themselves. This means that perhaps Tyrone and Tandy met Matt, Jessica, Colleen, and Wong and they all discussed what was going on, as it would make sense for them to all be in New York. Tyrone and Tandy would have probably prepared for the worst and most likely traveled into the Dark Dimension during the Battle of Wakanda so that they would be safe from the snap of the Avengers lost. This could explain how they both manage to survive.

Helstrom: Daimon and Ana aren’t really superheroes, so it makes sense why they were not really involved. Sure, they may have seen what happened in New York on the news, but it’s not like they could have really done anything about it. They just aren’t on that power level. They both live on the West Coast of the United States, so they couldn’t have met up with Wong for more information like how Matt, Jessica, Colleen, Tyrone, and Tandy did. They most likely just continued on with their day and hoped that whatever was happening wasn’t too serious.

What did each faction of the Hand dedicate themself to?

I haven’t watched the netflix marvel series yet but I plan on watching them soon. I’ve recently seen a lot of people hating on the iron fist series. is it widely hated by the fans, or more importantly, is it good or bad? i quite like iron fist in the comics so i was looking forward to watching it, i’ll probably still watch it either way but i want to know how to set my expectations.

Recently, I finally finished watching the second season of Iron Fist, which I can say is much better than the first but its end left me wondering how was Danny able to get the Iron Fist back when Colleen is the one with it?

I have seen all the Marvel TV series but I still need to see season 2 of Iron Fist, I didn't like season 1 very much and it bored me at some moments, and the truth is I had no interest in watching season 2 but I was thinking about give it a try if it has improved according to Season 1.

I want to watch the Marvel Netflix Series, in what order should I watch them ?

For me, both Captain Marvel and Iron Fist Season 1.

For all it's problems, Iron Fist Season 1 I find has an interesting story of domestic abuse, with Ward Meachum, and just general abuse with Danny Rand in K'un-L'un. Is it greatly executed? Hell no, but they do a decent job at it.

As for Captain Marvel, her wit and sarcasm has slowly grown on me. And the story of memory loss, while again, not the best execution, does bring a unique aspect. And the Skrulls do help it as well.
