Ikaris

So The Celestials created the Eternals correct but what confuses me is how is Ego Quills father a Celestial because if he's a celestial wouldn't that make him as big as Arishem the Judge why and how isn't he as big as Arishem???. and I want to ask so we know that Xuwenwu had the Ten Rings for 1000yrs but how old exactly are the Ten Rings and also what confuses me who and what made the Ten Rings and the Sorcerer Surpremes which are Dr. Strange, Wong, The Ancient One had know idea what they were as Wong said "This matches no Artifact in are codex." In Spider-Man No Way Home Dr. Strange was aware that Green Goblin Sand Man Doc Ock Electro and Lizard came into their Universe but what confuses me was he aware of Tobey's (Peter/Spider-Man) and Andrews (Peter/Spider-Man) I hope you could explain to me :)

I'm a little confused, If Sersi married Ikaris why is she dating Dane?. I mean I get he left her and she got tired to waiting for him but still, did they divorce or is it some random thing about being Imortal?

While reading this page, I realize that Ikaris and Sersi's marriage is missing. There is a scene from Eternals showing it in 400 A.D at Gupta Empire.

I don't know if this is the right way of helping with informations to be fullfiled tho...

Some of them can be easily spotted, like Ajak, Ikaris, Phastos, Makkari, Thena are related to Greek mythology and legends, Gilgamesh is Mesopotamian. Sersi may need a little dig to find out to be Circe (who is a minor figure). Sprite is Puck. But with Kingo and Druig I have no clue. Maybe they are just made up?

7. Flag-Smasher - The Falcon and the Winter Soldier was good as a whole but Karli Morgenthau was the one character who felt underdeveloped and they had a perfectly complex antagonist with John Walker's decent from Captain America to U.S. Agent

6. Infinity Ultron - What If...? started as a fun series of episodic stories and I think it worked better that way. Ultron doesn't get introduced until the end of episode 7 and the fiinal episodes just show him as a genocidal maniac with no character , not even the Iron Man like humor that made him memorable in the films

5. General Dreykov - Black Widow was a good spy film that allowed us to see Natasha Romanoff's life and family outside of the Avengers. General Dreykov is a despicably slimy villain with all the depth of a one-off James Bond villain however based on the structure and feel of the film I think that was intentional

4. He Who Remains - This has more to do with the impact on the future than the villain himself. Loki was impressive and funny the whole way through but it took to much time building up the mystery of the Time-Keepers as the villains that when they revealed it to be someone else that they only had 40 minutes to work with him and the only reason we are excited is because he is a variant of Kang the Conqueror

3. Agatha Harkness - This is mainly down to performance as Katheryn Hahn is clearly having the time of her life playing both the quirky neighbor Agnes as well as the insane Wicked Witch-esque Agatha Harkness and her spin off has the chance to give her some proper development.

2. Ikaris - One of the most complex villains in the MCU as he is only doing what he has devoted his 7000 year life to and can't accept the idea that it was wrong. Ikaris doesn't want to kill everyone on Earth he just knows it will be a byproduct of the Emergence and as far as he's concerned one planet is not worth saving for sake of a thousand planets being created.

1. Mandarin - This is a former villain who became a family man and when his wife died he went back to the only other life he knew. His motivation throughout the film was centered on bringing the family he once had and ruined because he refused to accept the fact that his wife is dead probably partly because he was immortal

Who is the most complex antagonist in Phase 4 so far? I say the Mandarin and Ikaris

The MCU and the DCEU both mention characters from each other's comics.

One for the MCU is when Jack calls Ikaris Superman. (Eternals)

One for the DCEU is when Freddy Freeman calls Billy Batson Zaptain America. (Shazam!)

Of course there is more.

Firstly, I do not intend on causing any controversy. I am just expressing my own observations. While watching the trailer, I noticed certain parallels with the Hindu beliefs:-

• Ikaris and Shiva/Vishnu- Both are somewhat stoic in nature. Shiva and Vishnu are described as a beings of pure energy. Vishnu is described as the protector and Shiva is described as the destroyer and renewer.

• Sersi and Parvati/Lakshmi- Parvati and Lakshmi are both described as Goddesses of fertility, prosperity, growth and sustenance of the world. Parvati and Laksmi are the consorts of Shiva and Vishnu, respectively.

• Phastos and Viswakarma- Viswakarma is the inventor God who constructs weapons and devices for other Gods.

• Gilgamesh and Hanuman- Both are extremely strong, but light-hearted and devoted towards their cause.

• Thena and Durga- Durga is a warrior Goddess who conjures different forms and weapons to eliminate 'demons'.

• Ajak and Dhanvantri- Dhanvantri is the deity of Healing and hospitality.

So, If these connections are intentional, Marvel has done a fabulous job at intertwining world history and beliefs with the history of the Eternals. :)
