Not much has been said about their upcoming M.C.U. integration, and John Krasinski unfortunately isn't gonna be cast as Mister Fantastic in their first film, so I just thought I'd ask.
Personally, I'm kind of drawing a blank.
Given how very well-done Josh Brolin's combined voice acting and performance capture portrayal of Thanos was, I for one would love to see how well the next level of such a portrayal, albeit for Galactus, would be.
If anything, though, we definitely need something more like what's seen in this image (taken from the last scene in the last cutscene of Marvel: Ultimate Alliance, b.t.w.). We don't need another cosmic hurricane-like entity like the one we saw in Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer back in '07.
As cool as that may have looked back then, it was like they took a page out of Star Trek: The Motion Picture (1979), and that's too cerebral for a Marvel film. Nothing wrong with that, just thinking in terms of what seems to appeal to the better part of the audiences, and to rectify certain errors from past releases.
And to add to that, while his true appearance, particularly his helmet, was hinted at in this scene in the '07 film, not many could tell that it was really him.
We all know that Fantastic Four will come out in the next two years, so I decided to tell you guys my idea for who the villain should be. Many want Doctor Doom again despite being the villain in the last 3 Fantastic Four movies, while others want either the Silver Surfer or Galactus to be the main villain in Fantastic Four (2025). While those are great options, why not introduce a minor Fantastic Four villain alongside the main one in the movie. Maybe Marvel can introduce the Frightful Four in the movie. The Frightful Four are enemies to the Fantastic Four and seeing them in Ultimate Spider-Man made me think that they would be perfect for the MCU Fantastic Four film. We've already seen Crossbones, the Flag Smashers and many others in the MCU, so why not introduce the Frightful Four in the MCU. Sounds like a great idea. It could also be their live-action debut in a Marvel film. I would love to see the Frightful Four in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Marvel has the film rights to every Fantastic Four character since Disney brought Fox, so this is a good idea.
The Frightful Four have yet to debut in any live-action Marvel movie, so this could be their chance.
If marvel studios takes Half-inspiration from the ultimate comics and Aims for a college age fantastic four, heres my options:
Director: John Krasinski
Mr. Fantastic: Joe Keery
Invisible Woman: Elizabeth Lail
Human Torch: Rudy Pankow
Thing: Jacob Elordi
But they shouldn’t turn Reed into the maker, make his personality background and childhood similar to his 616 counterpart, and have a healthy romance with Sue,
I wonder if the Fantastic Four movie will either
A) Follow the 616 Formula where they are charted into Space But back in the 1960's before going into the present world as Dr. Strange jokingly mentioned
Or
B) Marvel Studios can make them Young adults, Base them and their Origin on the Ultimate Comics versions receiving their Powers from the Negative Zone, But Not make Reed into the Maker, Give him a Better Childhood like his 616 counterpart (Not make his Father abusive), and either Fight Mole Man or Annihilus & Blastaar
Maybe it’s just me, but how come no one has ever talked about Andy Garcia making a good Galactus if they introduce his character in the MCU?
