Cause they know him from that FF Universe before their death of the hands of the MCU Scarlet Witch, then He will be a more dangerous threat to the entire Multiverse than every variant of Doctor Strange. Doctor Doom might team up with or destroy the Dynasty of Kang completely to prove how dangerous he really is.
I'm pretty sure that Cillian Murphy was born to play Doctor Doom. I feel like Robert Downey Jr. will do a pretty great job portraying Doctor Doom from the Fantastic Four Universe but it just feels weird having him playing a Villian from another universe that is not really a Tony Stark Variant.
Because if Reed Richards can't create a wormhole for his team to travel through the Multiverse, then the TVA will help them escape the destruction of their universe by the very end of the film.
Was there any mention there that Marvel Studios planned from the very beginning to introduce Doctor Doom in Avengers 5 and 6? I was having an argument with one guy who claims it was always a plan to introduce him there.
Which "Secret Wars" comic arc will it be based upon? 'Cause there's two, both of which had different rosters of heroes and villains involved: the original from 1984 to '85, and the 2015 to '16 one. Since Doctor Doom is the villain and not Kang the Conqueror, I'm guessing that it'll be based on the '15 to 2016 comic (which also saw Doom as the antagonist) and not the '84 to 1985 one (which had the Beyonder as the enemy). But I guess we'll have to see.
I think they'll do something similar to what Arrowverse did with their Crisis on Infinite Earths. Some earths (for example MCU and Fox, F4, and some more) will combine with each other which will result in a new earth with rewritten history in which all those people who were transported always lived there. It will also result in new heroes and villains. That's just my idea of what they might do, which sounds more likeable than rebooting the whole thing and making 19 years of movies and shows pointless. If they sticked with Kangs instead of replacing them with Doom, it would've been a good way to introduce him in the MCU.
As well as playing Doctor Doom? Let's discuss this.
If so, then I guess that means it will not be the same version in the Avengers movies.
I notice that's there's one specific villain in Phase 4 and in Phase 5 so far that we're well written and were the best in their Phases. I know that there were some other ones too, but these 2 villains were like MCU Infinity Saga villain writing I've never seen in a long time.
For Phase 4: It was the Green Goblin in Spider Man: No Way Home. We saw how Green Goblin was normal as Norman Osborn, but then we see how scary he is as Green Goblin, and how much of a villain he is.
For Phase 5 for far: It was the High Evolutionary in Guardains Of The Galaxy Vol 3. How he treated Rocket and the other animals as if they were nothing was so mean and sad. And how try to change them when he hated things the way they were was so sad. And he fit perfectly in Rocket's origin story. And we all saw how much of a villain the High Evolutionary is.
Now finally, for Phase 6, I hope that this next villain is also gonna be well written in a Infinity Saga type as the Thanos level villain and will be the best villain in Phase 6.
For Phase 6: I hope that it's Doctor Doom for Fantastic Four, if he does appear in it. And in Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars. I hope he gets written as the Thanos level villain. And I hope that this Doctor Doom we're gonna get is better than the 2015 Doctor Doom and the 2000's Doctor Doom. And I have a good feeling he will, since the writter for Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame is doing Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars. And the Russo Brothers are coming back to direct those two movies too, so I have a good feeling that they'll do Doctor Doom good 👍
Don't want
Have Doomsday begin with Doctor Doom killing the Council of Kangs and murdering Rama-Tut, Scarlet Centurion and Immortus. (If they're not the villains in Avengers 5 or Avengers 6, then save them for later)
Having Doctor Doom with Kang the Conqueror's head as a trophy (Doctor Doom had killed several Marvel heroes and villains in the Fortnite Marvel event, "Absolute Doom," such as Thanos and Ultron, etc.)
Have Doctor Doom interact with the Multiverse and the Sacred Timeline (that's Kang's business)
Want
Have Doctor Doom meet his previous live-action counterparts (played by Julian McMahon and Toby Kebbell. Probably not Joseph Culp since he may have retired or passed away)
Fight the Fantastic Four (obviously since Doom is a Fantastic Four villain)
Have Doom interact with Shalla-Bal, the Silver Surfer
Having Doom interact with Galactus
At The End Of Time, we learn that anyone can be there to watch over time and the multiverse. We saw He Who Remains watching over time and the universe, but also controlling it with everyone in time, including the TVA at The End Of Time. We then see Loki going to The End Of Time and now watches over the multiverse and time, but instead of controlling it, he's giving everyone free will.
Which leads to my question, before He Who Remains took control of the sacred timeline, before the multiversal war with the Kang variants, and before the Kang variants discovered the multiverse, was there anyone watching over time and the multiverse before He Who Remains?
Also, I have a theroy for Avengers: Doomsday that the next one that will be at The End Of Time is Victor Von Doom/Doctor Doom (RDJ), which could be how he becomes God Emperor Doom and how he creates BattleWorld, and it could he how Doctor Doom wins like how Thanos won in Avengers: Infinity War
I'm making this preference because Kang was already being set up as the next big bad of The Multiverse Saga starting as He Who Remains in Loki Season 1 where they had the character give clues for what's to come like "The Multiversal War II" his variants and Kang himself and they set him up perfectly later we saw The Council of Kangs and a Loki Season 2 teaser with Victor Timely in the post credits of Quantumania I enjoyed Kang for the whole movie and the Post Credit Kangs which also sets up for what's to come and then following that out of nowhere they decided to pivot by dropping the story entirely by introducing Doctor Doom and retitling The Kang Dynasty to Doomsday.
I prefer The Kang Dynasty because not only it's the original plan for The Multiverse Saga it also gets me to have low interest in the Saga at all due to this decision, the plan was meant for Kang not for Doom why wouldn't they introduce the Time Variance Authority and He Who Remains and then linking it in the process Kang the Conqueror has everything to do with time and multiverse Doctor Doom has nothing but magic might as well should have saved him for a Supernatural Saga, for those who are wondering if I'll be seeing Avengers: Doomsday in 2026, My answer is No because why would I waste my money on greediness.
Jonathan Majors Kang the Conqueror is no more... Avengers: The Kang Dynasty is no more... and what did Marvel do... replace Jonathan Majors with Robert Downey, Jr.... replace Kang the Conqueror with Doctor Doom... and rename and rework Avengers: The Kang Dynasty to Avengers: Doomsday... why!?
I was going to do a post about this back in July or August, but I decided to do it now. Both Loki and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania set up Kang the Conqueror... the trailers for Quantumania said that the film was going to start a "New Dynasty" for the MCU, the post-credits scene of Quantumania showed the Council of Kangs and introduced us to Rama-Tut, Centurion and Immortus... They planned to attack those who tampered with the Sacred Timeline and the Multiverse... At the end of Quantumania, there's a tagline saying that "Kang will return..."
And Marvel just threw all that stuff they set up out the window and decided to no longer have Kang the Conqueror as the main antagonist of the Multiverse Saga and replace him with Fantastic Four villain Doctor Doom as the new main antagonist of the Multiverse Saga... why!?
Marvel doesn't just "build up things and throw them out the window!" They didn't do that with Thanos. Sure, Disney's competitor and Marvel's competitor had initially set up the character that inspired Thanos as the main antagonist of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's rival shared universe before ditching the director's vision of said rival universe and replace that character with who knows what James Gunn has in store with his new rival shared universe. Kang could have been kept if Marvel just re-hired Majors or re-casted Majors like they did with Thanos. All that build-up for nothing.
I've heard on social media that Marvel can basically sideline Kang because in the series finale of Loki Season 2, "Glorious Purpose," the Time Variance Authority begins tracking down variants of He Who Remains aka Kang the Conqueror thus having the TVA handle Rama-Tut, Centurion, Immortus and the Council of Kangs instead. Sure, Marvel can use Kang the Conqueror as the "big bad" of the next MCU saga (speculated to be either the Mutant Saga or the Supernatural Saga) but Kang is a multiversal villain and I'm pretty sure the multiverse won't be heavily featured as it did in the previous saga and probably someone else will fulfill that role. Hopefully Marvel gives Kang another go.
Also, I think Doctor Doom was meant to be introduced in Avengers: Secret Wars as Kang was nowhere to be seen in either the 1984-1985 Secret Wars or 2015-2016 Secret Wars comics.
Knull: In the beggining of Thor: Love and Thunder a god says "He killed the Owner of the Necrosword." and in comics Knull, god of Symbiotes made and used the Necrosword. And then we saw a dead body which never showed its face. And also Gorr the Godbucher use monsters which look with Symbiotes. So I think that Knull is dead in this universe.
Silver Surfer (616): As we saw, the Fantastic Four will set up in an another universe, and Silver Surfer in this universe will be Shalla-Bal and no Norrin Radd, the original Silver Surfer. So a good theory is that Norrin Radd exists or existed in the earth 616 and in the Fantastic Four's universe exists Shala Ball.
Doctor Doom (616): In Incredible Hulk, Hulk destroyed an embassy of Latveria, the a country ruled by Victor von Doom. So it's very possible that Victor Von Doom or even and Doctor Doom exists or existed (more possible) in earth 616.
Logan: In a episode in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, in a site which Jennifer Walters read wrote "A Man with Metal Claws" it's definetely a reference to Wolverine/Logan.
Phase 4:
- Green Goblin (Spider Man: No Way Home)
Phase 5:
- [For now] The High Evolutionary (Guardains Of The Galaxy Vol 3)
Phase 6:
- [Hopefully] Doctor Doom (Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars)
I think that Instead of He Who Remains just telling Loki and Sylvie about his variants and the multiversal war, he would also tell them that he's making sure that Victor Von Doom doesn't exist by making sure that the multiverse doesn't exist so then he doesn't create BattleWorld. And then when Sylvie killed He Who Remains, it created the multiverse and released Victor Von Doom.
Thanos, the Mad Titan who was the main villain in Avengers: Infinity War and in Avengers: Endgame, he can return again in MCU. In February, Thanos actor, Josh Brolin revealed to Comicbook.com that he'd heard "through the grapevine" about Marvel Studios bringing the Mad Titan back into the mix. Brolin told:
"You know, I hear kind of like through the grapevine, that they're gonna bring him back. And there's the What If...? series and that's a different kind of Thanos and all that. But I don't know in the Marvel world whether they're going to bring him back, but I didn't know that he was the most killed-off Marvel villain ... You learn something new every day."
Could Thanos return in MCU? And when and where? My theory now: It's not sure yet, but if he returns he maybe return in Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars. If this happen, we will see his tragic death which is the removal of his skull and spine. Why Thanos has to have this death? Because in comics Doctor Victor Von Doom did this as God Emperor Doom. Because comics aren't a canon in MCU and we didn't know even if Doctor Doom turn into God Emperor Doom in the film, that's not sure.
Thanos could also appear in What if...? Season 3 or Eternals 2.
I am almost sure that if they bring Thanos to the Avengers he won't be the villain, I think that he is gonna be a hero. Why: Because Thanos was from the begining a hero who want to give to the universe "freedom" but also there are theories that Thanos trying to stop villains like Galactus, Silver Surfer and Doctor Doom, also it will be nice if saw him to fight with Dr. Doom, this time he is the hero and Doom is the villain.
Just a announcement. Tell what do you think.
