Hi guys! I hope you are having a splendid day. Just as we informed with "Spider-Woman" (a film made by Sony Pictures on its SPUoMC") we have a new announcement related to Cindy Moon/Silk.
According to Variety, Sony Pictures is moving forward with its universe and is making a TV series based off "Silk", who in the comics is a vigilante who got bitten by the same radioactive spider that gave Peter Parker his powers. Silk is capable to create organic webbing, opposed to Parker. They also had a relationship in the comics momentarily. In the MCU we were introduced to this character in "Spider-Man: Homecoming" by Tifanny Espensen, who later survived Thanos' Snap and graduated from Midtown before the Blip.
Whether the actress return to reprise the role in this collateral universe, we wonder what is at stakes for Spider-Man characters in the MCU? This post is not to discuss the SPUoMC but to talk how major players from Spider-Man's storyline could be affected further down the line as Sony develops its own universe.
