Since his dad Ego the Living Planet is a Celestial and the Celestial race aren't really a biological family across the Universe, does that means that Peter Quill doesn't have any biological grandparents from his Dad side then? We know that his grandma from his Mom side passed away after his Mom died from cancer and he was abducted by Yondu when he was a little kid.

If he had been Sorcerer Supreme for 4 years, would he have learned about the powerful race of gigantic beings that existed for millions of years from the books in Karma-Taj? He might even learn about the Eternals from Thor since he hangout with them.

If so, It's kinda sad. That was a big nerf, and Celestial Star-Lord was cool. Also I will use this post to mention that kid Peter Quill in What-If S2 is basically the avatar now and I have no complaints.

If so, that may be why they directed the Eternals to not interfere even when it seems like they should’ve.

which one has more power and influence in the Universe? Celestials created everything and the TVA sort of controls time (through He Who Remains) so that's the question for the MCU to answer. Apart from that both are kind of "separated" from almost everything that happens even coexisting with the rest of the universe

One thing that has bugged me since the release of Eternals is whether the Celestials or Cosmic Entities were ’created’ before the other, or vice versa. The Celestials are said to be the oldest species in the universe, predating the Big Bang and the creation of the Infinity Stones, but the Celestial Entities are said to predate the universe, ’existing as myths to the oldest species in the universe’. So which one is it?

They made Deviants and Eternals. They made a lot of things. How about humans? The original life forms on earth are very different. Biologically, it's hard to believe (in-universe) human and other intelligent aliens evolved to have similar appearance all by natural, unless genetic interference is involved. It's either they rigged primitive species on different planets, or when they made planets they hid some source code to ensure intelligent life only comes with humanoid appearance. Possible?

Okay, so serious question: is the backstory of the Dark Elves part of MCU canon?

The new film "Eternals" stated that the Celestials were the only thing predating the Big Bang, ruling the primordial cosmos with an iron fist. But "Thor: The Dark World" says the same of Dark Elves. This completely retcons the idea of the Ginnungagap. I read this confusing article on MCU Wiki that said the Dark Elves surfaced into the light after the Big Bang, and that they went to Svartalfheim to sustain themselves, and Malekith wants darkness because apparently it will somehow make him all-powerful, it's all very confusing. How can Malekith be "unchallenged" by beings such as Arishem the Judge and He Who Remains when he can't even beat Frigga? Didn't it say both of those godlike entities were in charge, their ability to skewer Frigga in a heartbeat notwithstanding? The more I think about this, the less sense it makes.

The catch is, it was only covered in an Asgardian book Thor mentioned Frigga read to him as a boy, titled "Book of Yggdrasil". That may have just been a story in-universe. The events of "Eternals" contradicts it completely, so is the Dark Elves' origin still MCU canon?

Was it show the history of the Universe and the introduction of the Celestials?
