I do see that they are the next evolution of the Human Race.
I do see that they are the next evolution of the Human Race.
Like scarlet witch from doctor Strange 2 (this isn't a question by the way)
I remember clearly when Bob Iger teased the possibility of Daredevil and many of the Defenders Verse in future MCU movies. At that time it felt as impossible as a Guardians of the Galaxy and Avengers Crossover, or the Fox acquisition, but now all of these have pretty much happened.
For a while it seemed Marvel Studios might restart the characters journeys, especially with the Darkhold being redesigned, but lo and behold, we've gotten Jarvis, Daredevil, Kingpin and Black Bolt with updated looks but otherwise the same character. And with more Marvel TV characters rumored to be on the way…this begs the question, is Marvel Studios hesitant to reboot these characters? I think that is the case, and I want to present some reasons why.
The Wolverine Dilemma
You know how unlike Spider-Man, Hulk and Punisher, only one actor has gotten to be Wolverine? A lot of people can’t think of Logan without thinking of Hugh Jackman himself, so much so, they brought him back. For many, recasting Wolverine may be damn near impossible, and I think that is the same for many other actors who’ve been the only actors to play a certain character in live action.
One just needs to see the love shown by campaigns like SaveDaredevil that prove that for many actors like Charlie Cox and Vincent D'Onofrio are the definitive versions of these characters.
The Disney+ Angle
One of the main reasons why Disney bought 20th Century Fox was so they could have a bigger library of content for their streaming service.
The platform seems almost determined to make itself the hub for Marvel tv, movies and animation. With how Covid caused delays at the launch of the service, only animation and Marvel TV shows were the way to get the Marvel fix, besides rewatching the movies, up until Marvel Studios started Phase 4 proper.
And just like how they're adding movies with R rating like Deadpool 1 and 2 and Logan, both of which will have relevance in future projects, they've added the netflix shows and Agents of Shield with a promo video celebrating it with stars of the shows. That's also a no brainer considering how popular shows like Daredevil were (during the show's release, and especially before No Way Home).
Why is this worth pointing out? Simple, there are other shows, like Helstrom, MODOK and Hit-Monkey, along with the Daredevil movie, The Incredible Hulk tv show aren't really a part of the platform. As such, a distinction over which projects the platform has and which don't seems to be which may have importance in a near future.
The Power of the Return
Nostalgia sells. We've seen it with Spider-Man No Way Home in the MCU, but everyone else is doing it as well. But what better time to do it, than now. With no Iron Man, Black Widow or Cap, new faces must be introduced, and with characters like Daredevil, they come with the added benefit of not needing explanation of their origin, as you may go watch the show instead.
But beyond that, it helps increase attention to projects. While Daredevil: Born Again will definetly hype up attention, a show centered around Echo may not, but the association with the hero may draw fans into it.
And that's pretty much it. If you finished reading it, thank for your time, and if you have any thoughts please leave them down below.
I was wondering what if a vibranium shield protected someone from Black Bolt' sonic scream... Can it completely vibration absorbed
as Howard Stark said? Or most of the energy will be converted into another form, and the one who behind the shield will be deafness and internal bleeding I guess. What I can't understand is that Steve Rogers was hold his shield hit by a grenade and flew in the air(CA-WS), if the shield wasn't made by vibranium then makes sense he will fly.
I also wondering that Black Bolt Roaring screaming as loud as he can to Thanos what will be? I know he can't hurt the mad Titan in comic, I think it will at least destroy his armor , might make him bleed.Unless Thanos's body is stronger than Vibranium. Since his armor can't protect him (Unable to withstand Stormbreaker)why does he need it?
So I was looking through the cast and I saw Anson Mount who played black Bolt in Inhumans. Does this mean that Doctor Strange will also include the Inhumans?
SPOILERS
Also, I just saw Morbius the other day and Vulture is in the post-credit scene coming through the portal after NwH. He meets Morbius and they want to team up. This probably means Vulture will be in MoM. But does it mean Morbius will be too?
Anson Mount is the definitive Black Bolt. Almost everyone was casted perfectly. There are some flaws in the story but all of it is very innovative. I hope they make a movie with these same guys.
The Inhuman Royal Family are oppressive tyrants who consolidated their power through an unfair caste system. Not only that, but they continuously isolated and mocked Maximus simply because he was not transformed by the terrigen mist.
Maximus was the real hero of the show (or he was until the last couple episodes). He wanted to abolish their oppressive system and go to Earth to save their civilization from a lack of resources. Not only that, but going to Earth would have allowed Attilan to establish a sanctuary for all the new Inhumans during the Inhuman Outbreak.
I think the writers eventually realized that they had accidentally made Maximus’ motivations more noble than the protagonists, so they had to “character assassinate” him so that the audience roots for the “heroes” instead. They had Maximus do a complete 180 and go against his entire character to make him want to destroy Attilan for absolutely no reason. His entire character was that he was a populist liberator for his people.
Furthermore, Black Bolt and his fellow dictators are continually selfish and aggressive to anyone who is not with them throughout the entire show.
One might argue that since the Royal Family ended up settling on Earth at the end of the show that they were redeemed, but this is false. The only reasons they resettled in Hawaii is because A) Attilan was already too far gone and they had no other choice and B) The movement to move to Earth had already been started by Maximus, so there was no undoing that ideology among the people. The Royal Family migrated to Hawaii because if they didn’t, they would have surely been overthrown. They came to Earth to save their own skin, not because it was the right thing to do.
These guys are definitely the villains.
Edit: Lol except for that stuff where Maximus kept hitting on Medusa. That was incredibly creepy.
So, we had concept leaks of Professor X in a new gold machine and I have a gut feeling where this is not the one we knew, the one from the main 20th Century Fox universe, rather a corrupt version where he didn't form the Mutants together as the X-Men or rather got them killed and abandoned them. And it could be the same for the rumored Mr. Fantastic. Maybe Reed killed the rest of the Fantastic Four for their abilities. Even Sue. And also the maybe even confirmed Superior Iron Man. Black Bolt could appear as well and was heavily rumored. Same as all that I said, corrupted. And look at the Ultron Sentries, they look refined and silvery, like what Superior Iron Man looks like. But that's just my theory.
Continuing the "Scene Discussion" is the final scene of Maximus in Inhumans, where he is left trapped in the bunker of Attilan by his brother, Black Bolt.
Let's discuss! How do you feel about this? Would you like for the Inhumans to return to Attilan? Do you hope to see Maximus again?
