I've had this idea in my head for a while, but I just can't accept that these events aren't connected in some way (even if it's just my headcanon). It's quite curious how these events can somehow fit together without me even realizing it.
To begin, we have this dystopian future of the Destroyed Earth in Agents of SHIELD Season 5, where we're told that Glenn Talbot supposedly destroyed the Earth using powers he acquired from Quake. However, the Lighthouse survivors attribute the catastrophe to Quake due to a lack of historical information. They say the city of Chicago was evacuated, which is true because it was the site of the battle between Talbot and Quake. Then a massive earthquake struck, reaching 12.8 on the Richter scale, and the Earth cracked like an egg. The Earth's destruction was unexpected, and no one would investigate in such a situation; they would only think about surviving.
Now, it's curious how Tiamut was precisely like a Celestial egg that, upon hatching, would destroy the Earth in the process. Furthermore, in Eternals, it was seen causing mega-earthquakes, which fits with the information. So, it could have been the emergence that actually destroyed the Earth, which was later attributed to Quake because he clearly possessed impressive earthquake-causing powers.
From what I understand, Talbot fulfilled his promise to stop Thanos. After the Battle of Chicago and having absorbed Quake, he went to Wakanda and, with his new powers and the help of the Avengers, they defeated Thanos. However, this resulted in Tiamut being born without complications (Thanos' snap caused his birth to be delayed).
Boom, Earth is destroyed, and with it, all those characters who were in the Battle of Wakanda at that moment die. For the sake of the plot, I'm going to assume that Thor also died (although he withstood the power of a million stars). As for the Infinity Stones, they were probably destroyed or perhaps scattered throughout the universe because if they had remained attached to the Infinity Gauntlet floating around, any of the survivors of Titan could have reversed the situation with the Time Stone, and that future wouldn't exist.
Iron Man, Spider-Man, and Doctor Strange would return to Earth only to find its remains. They would then discover the Lighthouse survivors and promise to find a solution. Thus, they embark on adventures across the universe, joining the New Guardians of the Galaxy. This group now consists of Star-Lord, Doctor Strange, Iron Man, Spider-Man, Drax, Nebula, and Mantis. The Lighthouse would eventually fall into the hands of the Kree Empire, and the story remains exactly the same until 2091 and everything that happens in that future. Apparently, the trio forgot their promise, lol, because it's more fun to live crazy adventures across the universe, or perhaps they gave up after not finding any way to reverse it.
Finally, one would think that all of this creates problems with what we saw in Loki Season 1 because the TVA would prune branches that weren't part of the main timeline, but if that future didn't exist, the Agents of SHIELD wouldn't know how to prevent it, and that wouldn't benefit He Who Remains, right? For him, it was necessary that everything happen as planned; that way, the Avengers would travel to the past and the TVA would recruit Loki, so that alternate future was necessary for He Who Remains' plans.
Does anyone else have opinions on this, or do you believe that these events are truly unconnected?
