How long do Asgardians live?

Likes how Thor and the Asgardians are now being treated as straight up gods, instead of being “aliens with superpowers” like before?

I know they incorporated some of Angela’s character into Hela, but what about Vidar or Balder?

Are they still gonna go with the “gods are just highly advanced extraterrestrials” idea or are they gonna sweep that under the rug for Love and Thunder and Moon Knight?

In the MCU, the Asgardians are regarded as a highly advanced alien race whose abilities and technology are indistinguishable from magic. In the first Thor it was implied. In The Dark World, Odin says they aren’t at the beginning and aesthetically their weapons started looking more like guns and planes and Agents of Shield flat out says they aren’t. But from Ragnarok onward it seems as though they’re rolling back on that and actually making them literal gods again. Now with Love and Thunder having Gorr the God Butcher and with Russell Crowe apparently playing Zeus, it really does seem as though they’re kinda retconning the alien explanation. Also now with Agents of Shield(supposedly)not canon anymore, can the explanation Coulson says be regarded as non canon? Besides, Gorr the highly advanced extraterrestrial Butcher doesn’t have a good ring to it.

In Agent of Shield Season 5, Episode 11 "All the Conforts of Home", is the reference to the Asgardians and the FBI for Thor: Ragnarok and Daredevil Season 3 correct?

Did anyone ever explain how the Asguardians survived, and got to earth in Endgame after Thanos blew up their ship in Infinity War?

Hello everyone! I'm writing a story about Hela's past, and it made me face a question I've been avoiding for far too long: how do Asgardians actually age?

Obviously they're stated to live for thousands of years, but I guess I mean more how they age physically (if that makes sense) and in relation to human years? Like, they clearly stay looking a certain age for a certain number of years, but how many? Do they develop normally up until a point and then slow down drastically? (Otherwise they'd be babies for like a hundred years which would be super inconvenient for the poor parents.) Sorry, so many questions! I know none of these are answered as such in the MCU, but I was just wondering if anyone had any thoughts or theories or had already figured it out!

And a follow-up question: how much older, then, is Hela than Thor? Like, when was "Hela's time", so to speak- when she was Odin's executioner?

Yeah, lots of questions... don't feel you have to answer them all! I would just like some ideas for my story. :) (So that I have a rough idea of when Asgard's conquest and everything was, how much before Thor's birth this was, and how old in Earth years this would have made Hela at the time.)

so at the start of infinity war we all know that Asgard was attacked by Thanos's army and before leaving Thanos destroyed the entire ship using a power stone, and thor is the only one who is still alive because he is a god and he is saved by the guardians of the galaxy, then where did the Asgardians come from in the endgame? because as far as I know they only use one ship and the ship was destroyed by Thanos the Mad Titan using a power stone. hahaha im sorry if i'm missing something, its just really confusing for me, and i really wonder how theyre survived???

I tried to look for the answer to this on the wiki and I couldn't seem to find it anywhere. Apologies if this is a really obvious question- I just didn't know that Hela was only Thor's half-sister, as I hadn't heard her referred to as such in the films. Anyway, I was just wondering if this is the case, who Hela's mother actually is? (If anybody knows.) 😊

Do you think Elliot Randolph (the Asgardian that lives on Earth from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) is aware of the existence of New Asgard in Norway? And if he is, do you think he would visit/move there or do you think we wants nothing to do with his fellow Asgardians?

Here's my reasons for why I think Surtur is not dead:

Reason 1 (might not make that much since): Surtur says he can not die until he carries out Ragnarok. Now the goal of Ragnarok is to destroy Asgard. From what Odin tells us Ragnarok is the people and there were no remaining people on Asgard (besides Hela). If this is true overall then Surtur can't die yet.

Reason 2: Surtur was merged with the Eternal Flame which means he can't die (this already proves my point). We know that individuals resurrected by the flame can still be killed again (in the case of Fenris and the Berserkers) but its merged with him which means that his immortal. We know Surtur is merged with the flame so he is basically stuck in his bigger more powerful state. This could mean trouble.

Reason 3: He swatted the Hulk like a fly, killed Hela, and survived an encounter with Odin as hinted by Thor, what more can I say.

Continuing the "Scene Discussion" is the epic final battle between Thanos and almost every hero in the MCU assembled, filled with so many awesome moments and payoffs.
