Armor Wars

Right now there are currently two untitled MARVEL dates in phase 6. 2/13/26 and 11/6/26. The two after Secret Wars are likely phase 7. Now if you look the February placeholder is right before Avengers Doomsday while the next one is after. If Ironheart indeed releases next year as planned and does set up Armor Wars, it would make logical sense for it to be in the February slot. Giving Shang Chi 2 the November 6 date given it’s rumored title plus its predecessor was a fall film as well so keep that tradition. So where does that leave spider man 4? Because it’s technically a Sony film, they schedule the release. I would not be surprised if it gets released Christmas 2025 so it’s before Avengers Doomsday. But you would potentially have 5 films in one year that involve the MCU.

In particular, I noticed how the design of the Mark 15 Iron Man armor in Iron Man 3 was the realization of the "Stealth Armor" concept art seen in The Art of Iron Man book. As such, I keep wondering if the Mark 7 War Machine armor might be the realization of this initial concept art of the Mark 5, as seen in its article.

Obviously, this is just speculation, as not much more has been revealed about it, but it's got me thinking for quite a bit. But what do you all suppose?

What do you think should have been a film or more likely a special to spend less time without sacrificing story?

It's been a while since it was first announced, and now that it's been converted from a miniseries into a film, it makes one wonder when it'll be released, and which phase of the M.C.U. it will be part of. Also, since it'll revolve around War Machine recovering stole Stark technology, do any of you at all suppose that the Ten Rings will have a role to play in it, given the events of the Iron Man 3 Prelude comic? Since the Mandarin said that they learned a lot about the War Machine armor, they essentially learned, by extent, a bit about Stark's tech, so it makes one scratch their head, know what I'm saying?

1. Multiple insiders seem to be claiming that the Secret Warriors will appear in Armor Wars

2. Among the members will include Quake and Yo-Yo (no word on whether the latter will be recasted though)

This is in line with claims that Quake will show up in the finale of Secret Invasion while setting up a bigger role down the road. And you know who else is showing up in Secret Invasion and Armor Wars? Rhodey. So maybe there’ll be a set up for the Secret Warriors at the end of Secret Invasion leading into Armor Wars.

Hi people. Just wanted to ask you who do you think is gonna be the main antagonist for Armor Wars, as while we know that Walton Goggins is coming back as Sonny Burch, Giant Freakin Robot claims that James Spader's coming back as Ultron yet IMDb once said that Sam Rockwell was returning as Justin Hammer. Shouldn't it make sense for Hammer to come back if Rhodey did come across him?

A source who was among those who first broke the news that Secret Invasion will likely debut on April 26 (due to needing to finish in May for some reward thing) and Loki will likely debut in August tells me that Armor Wars will be coming to theaters in 2025. The most ideal choice would be May 2 because it’s supposed to be a West Coast Avengers like film so we could see a delay to Avengers The Kang Dynasty into 2026. And I can’t see it coming out on July 25 (which could go to Spider Man 4) or November 7 (which could go to Shang Chi and the Wreckage of Time). Your thoughts on all of this.

What is a moment that you think is now impossible to be done within the MCU, and why?

As an example I have Shang-Chi using Pym Particles to fight a dragon, ,as seen in Avengers World #14. The movie would have to be Kang Dynasty, and it's because Kang unleashes it.

Now that we know Armour Wars is being released as a film I want to share a few things I think will happen in this film.

1. Rhodey will be fighting Justin Hammer who will be released from prison and be using a new ripoff armour as Titanium Man. This is so Hammer can actually fight Rhodey

2. Rhodey will team up with Ironheart to help track down the stolen Stark tech. By the time this film comes out Riri will have already been introduced in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and had her own show so it would make no sense not to include her here

3. Rhodey will retire the mantle of War Machine by the end of the film and take up the mantle of Iron Man. Lets face it, this is essentially Iron Man 4 and we know this saga is leading to Avengers: Secret Wars. well if you read the original book from the 80s you will find out that Tony Stark wasn't ever in Secret Wars as he had quit being Iron Man at the time and Rhodey had replaced him.

And where it does fit the "OK" reviews I've constantly heard (with some of my main problems with it being that some of the S.H.I.L.E.D. Stuff felt a little forced in and we saw a lot less of the great characterization of Iron Man we saw in Iron Man 1 where he is a jackass who genuinely does care about peace and saving lives.) But besides that, we all know Justin Hammer has kinda been forgotten about and he was a surprisingly fun villain so I'd love for him to return in Armor Wars. Who knows maybe as a reluctant ally to Rhodes (like Zemo in TFatWS) especially with him being confirmed to be queer in the All Hail the King short.

I can just envision the music for the show as being some kind of precise hybrid combination of the retro-synthetic style that both Harold Faltermeyer and Alan Silvestri utilized in their respective scores to Top Gun and Flight of the Navigator and a more militaristic style orchestral presence from the likes of both Silvestri and David Arnold. Given many of the '80's era references that Rhodey has made as both himself and War Machine, it wouldn't be out-of-the-ordinary to hear something as retro as what Faltermeyer and Silvestri both did back in 1986 fused with a more traditional symphonic presence translated into a military performance. In a fashion similar but different to how he fused the rock styles that Ramin Djawadi and John Debney utilized in their scores for the first two Iron Man films' scores with Silvestri, Arnold, and the late Jerry Goldsmith's respective orchestral styles in his music for Iron Man 3, that would be a perfect similar model, and he should be reinstated for such a show. I just think it's highly unfortunate that such a combined style and bringing him back is very unlikely, since the folks at Marvel Studios are striving for much more of a purely orchestral direction altogether. (Reinstating Henry Jackman for The Falcon and the Winter Soldier may be an exception, but such exceptions are very minimal).

In the beginning of the film, Assets of Stark Industries were missing! I assume they were taken by Mysterio’s Followers before the events of Spiderman Far From Home. I assume that even after No Way Home, The Rouge Stark Employees that worked with Mysterio are still out there and both Happy Hogan & James "Rhodey" Rhodes/War Machine will have to deal with those dangerous individuals in the future.
