All the time I felt she was hungry for attention. She tries really hard to boost her ego. She had her entire season 2 dedicated to her, and I feel Yo-Yo didn’t get enough recognition, she was very helpful. Quake took down Talbot, she took Jiaying, she went into some emo vigilante mode type of thing in season 4 ? Like she seemed to not care that much about Trip dying, so ? Just my thoughts! What was the point of bringing Felix Blake back in AoS Season Three if he was never going to appear again and just be replaced the following season with some random Russian guy as the leader of the Watchdogs?
To this day we still have no idea what he or the Watchdogs are doing or if they're even still active.
I'd like to believe that they might be brought back through Disney+ or future movies, but I don't see that likely happening.
At the end of AoS season 3, SHIELD is relegitimized and the ATCU is never mentioned again.
Does anyone know what happened to the organization?
My best theory is that all of its employees were transferred to SHIELD due to both groups having the same purpose.
I know this sounds crazy, but hear me out. I came up with this idea last week, and it has been driving me insane since. Captain America: Civil War takes place in 2016, and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D season 2/3 takes place 2015/2016. In Civil War, Peter says he had his powers for 6 months. At the end of season 2 in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, it is revealed that Jiaying and other inhumans released Terrigen Crystals to the public in the form of fish oil, right around the time Peter said he got his powers. If Peter took some of the infected fish oil, or he ate fish, like Yo-Yo, and he had some inhuman genes, then he could very well be an inhuman. In Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, it is mentioned by Lincoln Campbell that inhumans have a purpose and their powers are based on what the world needs. Peter became Spider-Man right around the same time the Avengers needed him, hence his purpose. The spider bite could have been completely coincidental, or maybe it helped influence his powers somehow. Maybe he never figured out how exactly he got his powers. It's never explained how he got his powers. He could have gone through Terrigenesis. If he had, he would have been so confused because of his powers and the process of Terrigenesis. Maybe he was so scared about his powers, he never told anyone, including Tony Stark.
Let me know what you all think!
Continuing our journey to the final season, we shall discuss season 3. As S.H.I.E.L.D. continues to be rebuilt, many of the agents are dealing with their own problems: Coulson doing his best as leader as well as losing his hand last season, Bobbi recovering from her injuries from Ward, who Hunter wants revenge on, Fitz trying to find Simmons, who had been sucked up by the Monolith and transported to another planet, and Daisy trying to protect the Inhumans, including Lincoln.
The third season showcased S.H.I.E.L.D. being faced with HYDRA, the ATCU and the Watchdogs, and the problems that come with them, as they deal with new issues. Other characters introduced were Rosalind Price, Joey Gutierrez, Werner von Strucker, Yo-Yo Rodriguez, Hellfire and Holden Radcliffe.
For the first half of the season, it was focused on the outbreak of Inhumans, the rescue of Jemma Simmons, Ward’s plan to destroy S.H.I.E.L.D., and the reemergence of HYDRA. In the second half of the season, after travelling to Maveth, a new threat reveals himself as Hive, who has taken possession of Ward’s body, as he seeks to control the Earth and rule the Inhumans.
This season featured a tie-in to Captain America: Civil War, addressing the death of Peggy Carter, the Sokovia Accords, and the fight between the Avengers. It also featured the return of Felix Blake, and the special appearance of President Matthew Ellis and Gideon Malick, who served as an antagonist for the season. The series still incorporated the major events of the wider MCU, but definitely was not reliant on it as much as it used to be. This season contained many memorable moments, such as Simmons’ episode on Maveth, Lash, Ward killing Rosalind, the death of Ward, Absorbing Man’s return, the Spy’s Goodbye for Bobbi and Hunter, the formation of Secret Warriors, FitzSimmons taking a big step in their relationship, Lash v Hive, the debut of the Shotgun-Axe etc.
So, what are your thoughts on the third season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.? What are your favourite episodes or moments? Who was your favourite character in this season? Is there anything from this season that you wish to be payed off in season 7?
In Far From Home “Fury” mentions kree sleepers in orbit like the Kree reapers who gave Hive is powers and created inhumans
