Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D./Season Five

Near the end of Season 5 of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., they mention an attack on New York which we know as when the Black Order goes to get the Time Stone in Infinity War. So the battle of Chicago is would take place around the same time as the Snap or a little bit after the battle, yet the snap doesn’t effect anyone in the show. Is this because of possible new universe or a production error?

I remember that it was found in the remains of the Battle of New York and I never thought of the Chitauri as an intelligent species, in my opinion they were simple soldiers loyal to Thanos. So why did the Chitauri have this device, what kind of business did they have with the Confederacy?

It is always said that Elena Rodriguez always bounce back to her starting space. But in 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' S5-E6: Fun & Games, she used her super-speed to take Flint away to the Salvage without returning. Did I miss something?

I've reached this point in the timeline, and I am a bit baffled, and the accompanying note hurts my brain.

The math based on the information available points to the attack on Fitz and Enoch's ship happening weeks before the timeline split at the end of Agents season 5. This raises a bunch of problems that require a bunch of assumptions not otherwise hinted at by the show.

Isn't it much simpler to simply assume that the numbers we were given pointing to the date of the attack are wrong? That sometimes happens, after all (such as Homecoming's "8 years" and Runaways' reference to 2019).

Either way, that's the assumption I'm making in my own version of the timeline, where I'm placing the attack very shortly after the timeline split (my *only* deviation from the Wiki's timeline).

In AoS s05's "Destroyed Earth" timeline, Earth was almost entirely obliterated, and it would seem that this was caused by Graviton's interaction with the gravitonium within the planet.

In Eternals, it's revealed that the Celestial Tiamut has been gestating inside the planet, and would emerge catastrophically, destroying the Earth. The Emergence would also have occured years earlier had the Blip not happened.

Now my mind really wants to connect these two points. The questions it asks are:

- Was Tiamut killed when the Earth was destroyed? Or did he emerge?

- Could the assumption that Graviton destroyed the Earth be wrong (as was the assumption that Quake did it), and the real cause was the Emergence of Tiamut?

Perhaps Graviton/Talbot succeeded in stopping Thanos, and the Snap failed to happen, and therefore Tiamut's Emergence occured years earlier (perhaps only a little while after the battle with Thanos), and the Earth was destroyed.

What do you guys think?

What if the alternate future at the beginning of the fifth season Agents of Shield where Earth is destroyed was Tiamut's fault.

It makes sense because of the fact that Deke Shaw mentions that the last thing felt on Earth was a big Earthquake.

My theory is that Talbot managed to get enough Gravitonium, went to Wakanda and defeated Thanos; which caused the acceleration of the Resurgence and the Eternals did not stop it.

When the Agents of Shield went back to their original timeline they changed their future like this: Quake defeats Talbot, Thanos wins and the Resurgence is delayed.

5 years later the Avengers bring everyone back with the Blip, this action makes Ajak feel empathy for humanity.

Ikaris kills Ajak so he won't prevent Tiamut's birth, but in the end Sersi turns the sleeping Celestial into marble.

Conclusion: Tiamut would make her first appearance in Agents of Shield but Marvel Studios didn't let them use the character. Kevin Feige confirmed it in an interview.

The odds should be very low. But just imagine if it's the same one on which there used to be some characters you know, won't it give you some extract feeling of impact?

In Agent of Shield Season 5, Episode 11 "All the Conforts of Home", is the reference to the Asgardians and the FBI for Thor: Ragnarok and Daredevil Season 3 correct?

I recently saw the new page for "List of Alternate Universes" and I couldn't avoid noticing that the Agents of SHIELD section shows two alternate universes: "Destroyed Earth" and "Destroyed Earth Time Loop". All this time I swore that season 5 created just a new timeline the "Destroyed Earth" timeline by preventing the destruction of the Earth in the main timeline causing the future they traveled to become a new timeline, why is it that two timelines have been created?

Season 5 and up ruined it for Agents Of Shield. Time travel is no good for programs or movies unless it's done right, like endgame did.

So does everybody know Agent Rodriguez with S.W.O.R.D? The lady that was with Hayward? So her last name is “Rodriguez” could it be a different universe version of Yo-Yo? Because Elena had mentioned in Season 5 Episode 1 of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, to quote, “So, wait, S.H.I.E.L.D. doesn't have a space division called S.P.E.A.R. or something?" (Credits to the wiki for the quote) So if you think about it.. Could that agent from WV be a different multiverse version of Elena?

Think about it! Or maybe I miss AOS too much but, just maybe, it could be!

in season 5 jemma asks Melinda may if she’s ever flown a spaceship before and she replies “you know the answer to that”. It’s even quoted on her bio page here. Except, prior to the lighthouse, I can’t find or remember her ever doing so. Anyone know?

In agents of shield,when the earth is destroyed in the future, where are the avengers. I know it's 2 years ago, but I'm rewatching the whole series for season 7 and I just wonder. Thor wouldn't let the earth be destroyed, neither would all of the MCU heroes, captain marvel could of kicked Talbot's ass. So where the hell were they!??

We know that coulson injected centipede serum on himself in another timeline. But it was not mentioned what happened to him in that timeline. Did he make to lighthouse?

In the agents of shield episode rewind Fitz enters a chryo chamber that looks all too much like the one used to freeze bucky when he is controlled by hydra. Does anyone else see this resemblance

Hi guys. I've just watched episode 19 of AoS season 5. I've looked several places, and they all say different about IW happening before episode 20 or after season 5 pf AoS. So what is your opinion?

Continuing our journey to the final season, we shall discuss season 5. When the team are abducted and are sent into space, they must learn what they’re doing there and how to get back. Sent into space is Coulson, May, Daisy, Simmons, Mack and Yo-Yo, leaving the team to wonder where Fitz is.

The fifth season showcased S.H.I.E.L.D., who had been shutdown, being transported into space, which was also revealed to be the future where Earth had been destroyed, as they make their way through the Lighthouse which is ruled by the Kree. Other characters introduced were Enoch, Deke Shaw, Kasius, Flint, General Hale, Ruby and Qovas.

For the first half of the season, it focused on the team trying to escape the dystopian future, while also attempting to defeat the Kree who have enslaved the Lighthouse inhabitants. In the second half, the team return the present, where they must try to prevent the destruction of Earth from happening.

This season featured a tie-in to exploring space elements established by the Guardians of the Galaxy and Thor movies, but most notably, major references to Avengers: Infinity War, with events of this season going on simultaneously with the movie. This show has occasionally crossed over with the wider MCU, but it’s never been too impactful, but this seemed to be a crucial one. This season was also suspected to be the show’s last, not knowing if it were to be renewed, so, when it came to the season finale, they made sure to give the show a good wrap up. Fortunately, the show was later renewed for 2 more seasons.

This season contained many memorable moments, such as Hunter’s return, Yo-Yo loses her arms, Deathlok saving Coulson, FitzSimmons wedding, Deke’s heritage is revealed, Fitz’s “Doctor” persona emerges, Absorbing Man returns, Mack becomes Director, Quake v Graviton, Fitz’s death, Coulson goes to Tahiti etc.

sometime after the return from the future, Daisy told his father that both sons got stabbed from the back.

Kasius by Mack with Yoyo present; Faulnak (earlier) by Kasius with Sinara present. in-between those 2 events, Sinara was killed by Deke in a similar manner with Daisy present.

Kasius she might have learned from Mack and/or Yoyo. but how did she learn about Faulnak?
