... or actor is stupid and childish?
Yep. Agreed. 100%. Infact, that is exactly the reason why I'll force myself to watch Ironheart. I will decide if it's good or bad only after watching it. Although, the trailers seem pretty good.
@Eleutheria's Breath You're wiser than most people. If I would hate on movies/shows I wasn't fan of I would hate majority of MCU. There was a time when I wasn't a fan of Thor, Ant-Man, Hawkeye, Deadpool, etc. And yet I liked their movies.
I don’t think that’s a problem
I mean I am always excited to see who will join the MCU
And whatever movie/show is told I am curious to see how it will be told and how it turns out
I know there is a mixture between good and bad movies and shows but that’s what entertainment is for and to give us something to look forward to with friends and family
I mean not everyone should be hated
I can’t stand Chris Pratt—I think he’s an asshole—but the Guardians of the Galaxy movies are what got me into the MCU and will forever hold a special place in my heart.
Are there actors that could’ve played Star-Lord better? Probably. Did Chris Pratt do a bad job as Star-Lord? No, he was perfect for the role and portrayed it so well. Do I still dislike him as an actor? Yes sir.
I think watching movies or series should not be influenced by what pop culture icon is in them. Think about the original Star Wars trilogy. Nobody heard of Darth Vader or Luke Skywalker before the general audiences saw the movies, for obvious reasons. Even with Iron Man and Thor, they weren't household names like they are today.
Some great movies were given a chance by general audiences, rather than passed up because they were new and different.
I will never understand basing a character on a another version of that character, the MCU has Repeatedly proven that they write different versions of these characters, If I was to based my like of a character on the comic versions, the only characters I would like is the Widows, Kamala, Monica, Wanda, the Hawkeyes, Sam and Steve Cap (and only those two not Walker.), and Sam lol.
Tony would be my number one character I would hate and I would despised MCU Spider-Man cause of how bad the comic Variant is..
@IronWidowMaikuB What makes Comic Spider-Man bad to you?
Not necessarily. This is a very biased and discriminatory post.
I agree. Just give it a chance. I always hear, "Nobody asked for this, why are they making this dumb show/movie." No one asked for a new Guardians of the Galaxy lineup in 2014, nobody asked for an Ant-Man in 2015, and nobody asked for Shang-Chi in 2021. Give things a chance and you may be surprised. Agatha All Along is a great example of this, with a lot of people regarding it as the second-best season of Phase Five TV (after Loki Season Two, of course).
The amount of people in comment sections on the YouTube trailers who are seemingly hating on a show that hasn't even gotten a decent chance to market itself is baffling yet expected at the same time, because people hated Riri from the moment she debuted in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Newsflash: this is a new project, meaning it's also a new story. Maybe stick around to see where it goes instead of writing it off as a cheap limited starring someone "no one cares about."
The Biggest issue with the Riri Haters for me is that they are basing their hate on a character that doesn't existed in the MCU and barely existed in the comics,
For All we know Riri could never once mentions Tony Stark and trying to be better then him but that's the only major reason why most people seems to hate this character.
What do you think?
