Good morning, afternoon, or evening! As we continue to strive to improve our Discussions Area, the staff team decided that an updated set of guidelines was required, with these updates ensuring that they remain relevant and clear to the community.

We encourage you to read the updated guidelines below carefully before continuing to post.

Marvel Cinematic Universe Wiki Discussions Area Guidelines:

1. The Discussions Area is part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe Wiki. All standard MCU Wiki rules and policies apply here as well. Make sure you’re familiar with them.

2. Be nice and treat people with respect. Keep discussions civil and be open-minded about differing opinions.

3. Before posting, ensure that a similar thread wasn't already opened by someone else. Duplicate discussions on the same subject may be removed.

4. Posts asking for upvotes or promoting social media such as "follow me on Facebook/Instagram/X/YouTube etc." will be deleted.

5. Be mindful of spoiler policies and keep spoiler discussion under official threads- 30 days for movies, 7 days for episodes.

6. Do not post, or link to, leaked information or pictures under any circumstances.

7. Do not open "facts about someone/something" topics that just repeat the content of the Wiki articles.

8. Spamming, trolling, or impersonation of other users or otherwise is not tolerated.

9. Memes and fanart should not be posted as independent threads, instead please use the official meme and fanart thread (coming soon!).

10. Any threads and posts unrelated to the MCU, outside of the official monthly offtopic discussion, will be deleted.

11. If posting a question, try to search our many articles first- you might find what you’re looking for!

12. If your post was deleted, refrain from publishing it again or creating a post about your deleted post. It was removed for a reason. Any complaints consult the Discussion Moderators.

13. Ask for help. Notice something that doesn't seem right? Or do you just have a question? You can contact the Discussion Moderators via their message walls on the wiki, or through the Discord accounts linked on their user pages.
