@Antimonitor10 That would be pretty cool.
That episode was insane
Dario Scardapane said that Muse will be a multi-season threat, so there are three possibilities:
He's lying.
Bastion gets resurrected.
Muse will be like Ghostface from the Scream franchise, with a different person taking up the mantle each season.
I'm starting to doubt that Vanessa will survive to the end of the season. She already betrayed Wilson once by having sex with another man, but now she has tried to have him killed, which I very much doubt he will let slide. He was clearly expecting it too, since he had Buck waiting in the shadows to take Luca out. If that does happen, what will Fisk be like in the future without the one person he has any real love for?
Okay, here are my perhaps controversial thoughts:
1) Bastian was not Muse. He was a copycat. The real Muse is still out there, and it's going to be a race between the anti-vigilante task force and the kind of sort of newly formed Defenders, led by Daredevil, to take him out.
2) I still can't tell if Vanessa led Luca into a trap or if she legit wanted him to kill Kingpin or if she thought, "Meh, either way would work for me."
3) Heather Glenn is in big trouble. She alone can tell the world that Daredevil was the one who saved her. Also, she knows way too much about the Fisks. Kingpin killed an ASL interpreter for less.
4) Daredevil touching the paintings and realizing it was Heather was ridiculous. I seriously suggest the writers of the show read the truly excellent book "Being Matt Murdock" by Christine Hanefalk.
5) I CANNOT WAIT to see the next episode! (Okay, that's not so controversial. LOL!)
@RedRoom1984 What Defenders are you referring to?
@Greater good I don't think Vanessa wanted Wilson killed, they both led Luca into a trap.
This is just a rumor and absolutely none of this has been confirmed by any official sources. But there are rumors that in season 2, Daredevil is gonna scoop up some other street-level heroes and they're all gonna work together. The rumors include Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, The Punisher, and Iron Fist. We'll see if that actually happens or not.
@Greater good Vanness probably doesn't actually wanted Fisk to died, it's probably just a weird game that those two played with each other to tested each other. Luca was pretty much a guinea pig for them. Plush, She really wants Fisk back on the Darkside and away from the politics life.
This was another good episode
I do have a feeling that Kingpin is up to something. He did tell Matt early in the show that if he went back to his old ways there would be consequences/repercussions. However it doesn't seem like has happened yet but it could be slowly building towards it
How interesting to learn that a patient of Heather's was actually Muse. Still it's unclear what his true motives were other than just to get anger out/make art and kill people. I also did expect Muse to make it to the second season but he's dead which is fine. Gives more of a chance for Bullseye to shine again (if he returns in the second season) or have a new villain maybe Matthew Lillard (if he casted as the villain) for the second season.
Glad that Matt was there to save Heather from Muse. I also do believe there is a reason why Kingpin doesn't make the statement about Daredevil who was the one was there during the fight against Muse but rather give credit to AVTF instead. Again probably it's a plan of his
I also do feel like at some point both Heather and Kirsten will know Matt is Daredevil. Or he will tell one of them or he won't tell them both.
Interesting twist to have Vanessa sends Luca (or someone else) to go and kill Fisk. Luckily Buck was there to save Kingpin. I will say that in some ways Buck is kinda the new James Wesley with him being his right hand and close ally to Fisk.
But overall this was another great episode
I did some research, and in the comics, a young woman named Morgan Whittier takes up Muse's mantle after his death. Muse is sent to Hell and meets a piece of Whittier's soul, which had died due to being excluded by her college peers. Muse manipulates her from Hell and eventually reveals himself to her in a ghostly form, prompting her to kill her tutor and best friend. Whittier then dons a Muse outfit and becomes the next Muse.
Do you guys think they could adapt this in season two?
What do you think?
