my brief thoughts on captain america 4

I finally got to see movie today and I enjoyed it alot, its another film I dont agree with this overwhelming wave of hate its gotten, that being said I only had three main criticisms that involved leader as much as it was nice to see tim nelson finally play him I wished they had kept the original more comic accurate design that we saw in some of the promotion as well as they need to make him more intelligent for future usage, I understand its very difficult to make him know everything or almost everything its very hard to get a plot around that but at the same time he didnt come off as a super intelligent man in this movie so that rubbed me wrong and that post credit scene with him was underwhelming and tbh that moreso came off as psychic premonition type power rather than see possible scenarios for current problems, I sort of wished they hadnt had a post credit scene or at least changed it to something interesting. Other than that great movie imo.

Without spoiling I won’t say it’s a bad movie as everyone says it is

Sure it’s not like The Winter Soldier or Civil War

But it’s still an enjoyable movie

There are several things that I would change to make it better

But overall a great movie

Im not used to reading captain america comics so im unsure if he has any big villains he has yet to fight on the big screen if there is a captain america 5.

Clearly I think the movie is being overhated more for political reasons rather than for it's quality alone. It's what I dislike about critics, most of them usually seem to have some leaning they adhere too. Either that, or just most critics are sick of Marvel (and Disney for that matter) entirely.

The One Slight issue is due to how Sam's story is written, unless they bring back a Past Steve Rogers Villain (Bring Back Crossbones Marvel I'm begging you lol) Sam ain't really going to be able to fight his own villains, It's one of the reasons why you will probably never see the S.O.S. or any of those types of villains, it's way too "Woke" for right now. (which sucks because in todays the S.O.S are perfect villains for Sam to fight against.),

That's one of the reasons why you see Sam is fighting against Red-Hulk, most of his villains are dead or were already used earlier in the timeline or way too powerful for just Sam to deal with by himself.

@GothamRockstar I really don't think politics have anything to do with how the movie was received. Despite the fact that it's trying to be a political thriller like The Winter Soldier, it never feels like anything is at stake except in the scene on Celestial Island. It's also quite obvious that the movie got butchered by the reshoots, as Sidewinder feels shoehorned in and the movie in general feels like a jigsaw puzzle with lots of pieces missing.

I disagree I felt there was some lives at stake in this movie but at the same time the catch is if as the audience find it believable those lives could be lost, for me I found it highly unlikely they were going to kill most of the characters by the films end, maybe Im surprised the leader survived and he didn't have Ross killed after he wasn't red hulk anymore.

I do agree though I wanted to see the missing footage of the films but I don't think we will sadly.
