Is The Marvels the worst MCU movie?.
^It's true, though. Many of the people who hated The Marvels are racists and/or misogynists.
^No, it's not. Saying that some people who hate The Marvels are misogynists is not the same thing as saying all detractors of The Marvels are misogynistic. Personally, I thought that The Marvels was a terrible movie. Are you calling me a misogynist?
^Bingo. It's just like the discourse that surrounded The Acolyte. Yes, there was a tonne of backlash to the show that was bigoted and screw the people who did that, but there was a tonne of legitimate criticism. It was a bad show. I liked the villain and the fight scenes, but nothing else worked for me. It's badly written and full of flat characters, wooden acting, terrible dialogue, unconvincing makeup effects, questionable CGI, eye roll-inducting attempts at humour and clumsy attempts at nuance. Furthermore, as a murder mystery, it reveals too much too soon.
I'm not saying that everyone who hated the movie is bigoted. I'm saying that a certain group of people who hated the movie were bigoted.
The Problem isn't anyone of this site (except for maybe one person who didn't even get it shot and still hated it for no reason) as they have legit reasons to dislike and hate the film even though I personally don't agree with them. The Issues come from that the hatred of Marvels have been hijacked by the said Racists people who's everywhere cause of how Youtube and Social Media works. You can't even watch a Easter Eggs video on Marvel without getting bombarded with idiots like Critical Drinker and Nerdotic coming into the feed even though you might have blocked them.
@D-ManTheMovieTVGuy he was responding to someone who used the exclusive work “ONLY”. People might have different reasons for not liking the film, not because of a bias that they have.
I know. But that doesn't change the fact that people hate The Marvel or other media because of those types of biases. I'm not trying to generalize, I'm just telling the truth. And not acknowledging it enables the bigotry of those people.
Nobody is arguing that there aren’t those people out there and judging this film unfairly. People should not use words like “only” or “all” because people have different reasons for not liking it. It would be unfair to say if someone dislike a film like this, they are a bigot or sexist. That’s why they were asked to rethink how they view people that disagree. Not everyone are liked those trolls and not everyone liked that film.
@D-ManTheMovieTVGuy Calm down, dude. Trolls will be trolls whether we acknowledge it or not lol.
What do you think?
