Because now it feels like all that build up was for nothing.

They should have just casted someone else to portray Kang in my opinion
"Kang variants were dealt with by the TVA after Loki S2." That is how Marvel can hand wave Kang being gone, he was the main antagonist of Loki and Quantumania and now he's gone. If they wanted to still use him for a role in Secret Wars, they can use him for the role that the Molecule Man variants played
The RDJ reveal was embarrassing and reeks of desperation, genuinely stupid to strip a character of his identity and replace him with Iron Man
@Ra30990 So Loki will just handle an entire Council of Kangs all by himself offscreen? Lmao
I dug deep into the Kang history after Antman 3 so yeah, kinda wanted to see where it was going. But a recast would be weird as I'm used to Majors face already. It is what it is
@Mangobinks How is it embarrassing that RDJ is back?! For me, I'm so fricking happy and excited that he's back 😃! And I think he'll do well as Doctor Doom, because for one, he played the villain Lewis in Oppenheimer and he did very good at it. And two, with the Russo Brothers returning to direct the next two Avengers movies, I'm sure that Doctor Doom would be treated really good. Perhaps maybe he'll be treated the way Thanos was in Avengers Infinity War.
Unless it is mentioned in an upcoming movie or show, the Council of Kang is always out there. They could be brought back with Majors or a new actor later, like Marvel Studios did with the Leader, who had been absent for a very long time.
I think this means they don’t want to focus on Kang and all the possible controversy with the previous actor or a possible recasting.
They should have just cast Stanfield as Kang
@Thom7 Who's Stanfield?
Lakeith Stanfield, underrated actor who i kept seeing mentioned as a kang replacement
What do you think?
