They keep mentioning terms like "the Director" and "Level 8" and so on. I keep assuming that perhaps the "Level" terms could be analogous to a chain of command similar to that of the F.B.I. and the C.I.A., which is as follows:
1. New agent trainee
2. Special agent
3. Senior special agent
4. Supervisory special agent
5. Assistant special agent-in-charge (ASAC)
6. Special agent-in-charge (SAC)
7. Deputy assistant director
8. Assistant director
9. Associate executive assistant director
10. Executive assistant director
11. Associate deputy director
12. Deputy chief of staff
13. Chief of staff and special counsel to the director
14. Deputy director
15. Director
Obviously, it's just a theory since it was never fully revealed. But it would've provided some more clarity on each agent's authority and access.
