What are your personal thoughts on the whole switching actors for Kang??

How do you know that to be a fact though that you need a recurring villain to make a successful movie franchise? Also thanos wasnt necessarily pulling all the strings, he was involved with loki in avengers 1, with ronan in guardians 1 and that is it. Kang as far as I know is all over the place literally, I dont even get a clear direction from him, and yes I havent seen loki s2 yet so maybe we get more backstory in that. Also you bring up the xmen but that had a recurring villain in magneto not every film per se but he was the most recurring threat those movies had and they still ended up having to end.
I was excited for thanos since the start I dont remember him being boring.
Ronan was 1st Guardians; not 2nd.
though Thanos did seem to be a reason for Nebula's actions in 2nd Guardians.
Thanos Actions cause The Avengers, GOTG1, GOTG2 (The Main reason why Nebula went after Gamora in the first place was cause of her Daddy issues, (AOU), Infinity War, and Endgame,, Twice in the case of Endgame as there are two of them., Kang meanwhile has only been in 2 series/film so far in Loki S1/S2 and Ant-Man 3. The Main reason why Thor was gathering up the stones in the first place was cause of Thanos. Ultron was made in part of Tony's fear of Thanos. Heck even Tony's PTSD from Iron Man 3 was cause of you guess it Thanos. You can even blame Civil War a little bit on Thanos because if Thanos never invade earth by Loki then Tony would have never made Ultron which in turn would never the Accords to happen.
Yeah my bad I meant to say 1st
That is true I just meant he wasnt responsible for every single villain leading up to him.
And who even knows if on the tv side stuff like agatha, wonder man, daredevil, vision and ironheart will have kang in it or even hints of him in it.
But he was either directly or indirectly cause of most of Phase 2 and Phase 3 villains other then the Street Level films like Winter Solider which is exactly like what Kang is.
Thanos causing Thor to search for the Stones? from what I recall, the scene seemed to not give a reason; nor any other scene that mentions the Stones.
I actually changed my mind I actually dont mind if they continue with kang whomever plays him I just hope the writing is improved and he is more of a serious menance that isnt killed so quickly.
That being said if feige does decide to get rid of him and have another villain im fine with that too.
@Mdsb759 During the Big 3 farewell in AOU final scene before the New Avengers Assemble for the first Time, Thor knew that someone other then them was collecting the Stones, Now he didn't know exactly who it was as at that time Only Tony fully know about Thanos but Thor knew that he had to get the stones before Thanos grab them first. Tony even made a joke about to Thor and Steve about "Triple Yahtzee".
Also, I would assume that sometime after Thor 3, Loki would have told Thor about you know that Guy that is going to come after them for the other Infinity Stones.
Tony knew about Thanos? in Infinity War when Thanos is first mentioned to Tony, Tony seemed unaware of the name.
Strange: Can you get us home?
Tony: Yeah I heard you. I'm thinking...I'm not so sure we should.
Strange: Under no circumstance can we bring the Time Stone to Thanos. I don't think
you quite understand what's at stake here.
Tony: No. It's you who doesn't understand. Thanos has been inside my head for six years...Since he sent an army to New York and now he's back! And I don't know what to do. So I'm not so sure if it's a better plan to fight him on out turf or his but you saw what they did, what he can do. At least on his turf, he's not expecting it. So I say we take the fight to him. Doctor. Do you concur?
Once again, Tony might not know who he was exactly but he was always on his mind thinking how to stop this enemy, Thanos was the reason why he created Ultron in the first place, Thanos was the reason why he got PTSD in Iron Man 3. Thanos was always his greatest "Curse" as he put in Infinity War.
What do you think?
