If Spider Man doesn't get the Symbiote suit in Spider Man 4, then I think it'll be a good idea to make him get the Symbiote suit in Avengers: Secret Wars since he did get it in the comics 😃
It could just mean he gets the suit in Secret Wars. Sort of like Peter's space upgrade of the Iron Spider in Infinity War. And like in the Secret Wars comic event, he doesn't know it's alive until after in Spider-Man 4.
In a Ideal world, Secret Wars should happen before Spider-Man 4 and Peter should get his black suit in Secret Wars or Kang Dynasty because Peter usually wears the Black suit in Secret Wars. Plus, the Symbiote could easily somehow got to Battleworld and the Symbiote suit could be how they defeats one of the Kangs in Secret Wars.
I wouldn't make the symbiote the key to win. More just a helpful upgrade for a mostly friendly neighborhood hero to survive in this massive battle against Kang, but then shows what it can truly do later on.
Maybe he can take one of the weaker Kangs down or something. It doesn't have to Immortus, Beyonder, or Prime Kang if he's a thing but one of the Smaller Kangs Mooks should be weak enough for the Neighborhood Hero to take down since there's probably going to be a massive army of Kang running around.
It looks like Spider-Man 4 could happen before Secret Wars at the minute. After NWH’s tease, it seems reasonable that the symbiote could be included here, but if it’s left until later then I wouldn’t be mad either.
Honesty, it's all depends on who won that mini-feud between Sony or Marvel. If its' Marvel, I can see Feige holding Black Suit Off until Secret Wars but if Sony's won the feud then all Bets are off with whatever they got planning with that Multiverse Film they wanted .
Rights issues are exactly why keeping the symbiote to its smaller abilities is the better idea for starting out. Not revealing the whole thing until you go a whole film about it. Just show it helping him in small details. Him just taking down one Kang singlehandedly with an alien while others on Spidey's typical level are struggling is way too glaring for the suit's first outing.
