@TrueMarvelDCLover No need to trot out the profanity just for me. I don’t much want a period piece either. But many people feel the need to explain why we’ve had fifteen years of Marvel movies and nobody has ever mentioned the team. My idea (and I’m not alone) is that they are time-lost - that the movie is set in the present, but when we meet the team they’ve been missing for many years and somehow haven’t aged. That last bit isn’t needed anymore because the announced cast is older than most of us expected. Maybe they’ve just been off-planet all this time.
