Spider-Man is the one character that can goes back and forth from Normal Street Level villains like Mysterio to Multiverse Threats like Rami-Goblin. Even in Comics not every single villain was some street level punk that someone else could take care of. Besides that, NWH Still mostly focus on Peter's 1 Story and not the Mulitverse Side of the story.

He just in general has threats of all kinds. Street gangsters, blue collar criminals turned superpowered villains, multiverse crossing energy vampires, aliens, etc. There is so many and such different kinds too that it's hardly really something inconsistent as much as just who he is.

@Xandermcc Plus when Marvel comics needed to change something with one of their characters they usually choose either him or Tony. The Thing I can remember is that it was in one of the issues that Natasha's Catsuit and her current main look/Really her whole character at the time minus her being a Super Solider comes from Amazing Spider-Man 86.

I mean one is because his main starting point is as a teenager and thus his generational point needs to always change, and Tony is more the same level as Punisher, Captain America, and a few others where they are affected by the Marvel Sliding Timescale due to them being involved in world events. (Vietnam to Afghanistan in Tony and Frank's case, and increasing the time on ice in Steve's case)

Also telling is that all 3 movies had the same writers and director.

I mean this trilogy was made this was because Sony allowed Kevin and Disney to use Spider-Man and he is a more grounded hero compared to a lot of others so they were able to make a good story

Plus thanks to Jon Watts and the writers they were able to come up with come with the story and vision to make him different compared to Tobey and Andrew’s versions that worked well
