@Nathanial Higgins well the rat too! Perhaps the rat and Spider-Man were the Infinity Saga's "true" heroes! The rat was the one who started the whole thing but Spider-Man had even given the idea and, also, both the courage and will for Iron Man to rejoin the Avengers and help them saved everyone and then the universe!

I understand that a lot of people are big fans of Spider-Man. He’s always been the most popular Marvel character from comics, animation, film, etc.

When it comes to the movie Avengers: Endgame, he doesn’t really have as much influence over the whole plot moving forward. He gives nice character development material for Stark, but not story.

The writers and directors have explicitly said that this was the only future Doctor Strange saw where the rat freed Lang. The rat is officially the true hero, not Parker.
