@Romeo and Robot I wouldn't say that Walker is a "Bad" or a "Good" Man but he's not worthy of the Shield or being Cap. He's Barely a Decent Man and honesty Lemar would have been a better option for Cap but we all know why he wasn't chosen. It's like you wouldn't want them to give the Shield to Endgame Clint or Even Pre Hawkeye Yelena instead of Natasha. There were better options to choose from then Walker for Cap like Lemar or Bucky or Rhodey.
Dude I'm done talking to you about this because you aren't going to change your opinion and I damn sure ain't changing mine.
Its not complicated. Walker had an interesting character in the show and was not inherently bad or good. He was a morally flawed man who often struggled to do the right thing. In the end, he did not have enough moral integrity to carry the shield.
@WizardWarrior1 @IronWidowMaikuB exactly. John is a great example of a grey character. An anti-hero compared to more morally pure characters. He wants to do the right thing but doesn't always go about it in the right way.
I love how there's 85 comments lol.
@WizardWarrior1 I’ve seen more comments.
@Romeo and Robot And it isn't like he can't change later on in the MCU as it was shown by the face of the MCU in Tony Stark. Iron Man 1 Tony Stark was one of the most unlikeable characters to ever be created in films history and by the time Infinity War comes around he become one of the most likeable and relatable character who could have been Worthy of both Mijnor and Cap's Shield with his actions in Endgame. The Same thing can happen to our favorite Red Lantern Rage Cap John Walker.
I disagree. Tony Stark was likable on screen even when he was a moron.
@WizardWarrior1 Maybe likeable is the wrong word as RDJ personality make it hard for Any of his character not to be likeable lol, it's more like he was hard to root for in Iron Man 1 up to I would say The Avengers. Now Granted he did fall hard off that wagon in Age of Ultron to sometime in Homecoming and I can give him a pass for Iron Man 2 since you know he was dying
Walker can go that route and unlike someone like Clint , Bucky, Nebula, or even Natasha Romanoff to a extent who was likeable and easy to root for ever since they were first introduce or for Nat case her real personality was shown in the Avengers lol.
I feel Thunderbolts will make John more liked. He’s a 50/50 character rn but Thunderbolts can make him easier to root for. A large reason so many didn’t like was because he was supposedly going to be the next Cap. As US agent, he’s more easy to root for
What do you think?
