Were the best characters in the Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Change my mind
“And he stopped the man from killing himself” which I literally acknowledged? I said both made the decision to do the right thing over perusing vengeance. Nobody ignored anything.
No you said they had time to cool off. There's a difference. Also how TF does the serum matter? Steve Rodgers had the serum for years and never killed the big bad. Plus the heart shaped herb strength people just like the serum and again the two Black Panther's didn't kill.
@Romaro Brandon The difference is that the serum amplifies both good and bad characteristics. T’challa and Steve Rodgers are morally very, very good people. Walker started out less so and his darker qualities were amplified. Sort of like Red Skull but not as bad.
@Superbattleshipyamato A better example would be Alexei instead of Red Skull as Alexei is also a mortality Gray Character unlike Skull who's a pure evil character. Alexei probably did something similar to what Walker when he got his version of the Serum put inside him and he was willing to put his own Kids and Wife back in the place that Torture and abuse them for all of their childhood.
@IronWidowMaikuB You’re right, that’s better.
@Romaro Brandon they had time to cool off. Walker didn’t. Yet he still let go of revenge like T’Challa and Shuri. He killed one BAD person in the heat of battle. Sam says this himself.
Also did you pay attention? The serum amplified your emotions and what’s inside of you. Walker JUST watched his friend get murdered and had PTSD that made him unstable. Not a bad man, but unstable. Ofc he’d kill a terrorist.
And ofc Steve did something better, Steve was a nigh impossibly heroic man.
@Romeo and Robot I wouldn't say that Walker is a "Bad" or a "Good" Man but he's not worthy of the Shield or being Cap. He's Barely a Decent Man and honesty Lemar would have been a better option for Cap but we all know why he wasn't chosen. It's like you wouldn't want them to give the Shield to Endgame Clint or Even Pre Hawkeye Yelena instead of Natasha. There were better options to choose from then Walker for Cap like Lemar or Bucky or Rhodey.
Dude I'm done talking to you about this because you aren't going to change your opinion and I damn sure ain't changing mine.
Its not complicated. Walker had an interesting character in the show and was not inherently bad or good. He was a morally flawed man who often struggled to do the right thing. In the end, he did not have enough moral integrity to carry the shield.
@WizardWarrior1 @IronWidowMaikuB exactly. John is a great example of a grey character. An anti-hero compared to more morally pure characters. He wants to do the right thing but doesn't always go about it in the right way.
What do you think?
