The Marvels was the first film that made me feel like I understood Carol Danvers as a character and her relationships with Monica Rambeau and Kamala Kahn were great. I think that if we got another film, I think it would have a lot more time to work out an interesting plot because the second film had already established Carol's personality as a human being and a superheroine.
My only hope would be for the main villain not to be Kree again because I don't want Captain Marvel to have the same problem as Captain America where all her villains come from the same organisation. The Kree empire is becoming HYDRA. I would instead prefer to either have the third film set on Earth, with Carol fighting Mystique, Rogue or Moonstone or if it was another cosmic film, include Deathbird or Gladiator from the Shi'ar empire
